Kumkum Bhagya 17th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Poorvi escapes from Mathew’s hold
The episode opens with RV questioning his faith, asking God why Poorvi is facing so many hardships. He pleads for mercy, expressing his frustration and fear that their prayers are going unanswered. Diya tries to calm him, reassuring him that everything will be alright, and they’ll find Poorvi soon. Yug agrees but is unsure how they’ll reach her, especially since RV seems to have lost hope. RV, however, remains determined, stating that no one can stop him from rescuing Poorvi, no matter the challenges ahead. He sprints off, ready to face whatever comes his way. Yug, torn between helping RV or finding petrol, tells Diya they need fuel and a car to keep searching for Poorvi.
In another part of town, Neha storms into Monisha’s house, catching Monisha off guard. Monisha, shocked by her sudden appearance, angrily asks why Neha is there. Without warning, Neha slams Monisha’s head against the wall. Monisha, in pain and panic, threatens to call the police, but Neha retaliates, warning that if Monisha involves the authorities, Neha will expose her secrets. Neha accuses Monisha of ruining her life and angrily declares that she’s breaking off their deal. Monisha, confused, asks what deal she’s talking about, but before she can get an answer, she tries to escape. Neha chases her outside, but Monisha manages to hide in her car. At that moment, Sahil calls Neha, apologizing for leaving her and promising to come back soon. Neha, still enraged, hails an auto and leaves. Monisha, relieved that Neha is gone, starts worrying about how to protect herself and considers calling Jassi for help.
Meanwhile, Jassi is driving with Shera when he spots his uncle and aunt in a car behind them. He instructs his driver to let their car pass and follow them discreetly. During the ride, Monisha calls Jassi in a panic, telling him that Neha attacked her and seems to have lost her mind. Jassi, concerned, asks what happened. Monisha explains that Neha broke into her house, physically attacked her, and made it clear she wasn’t going to let Monisha off the hook. Jassi responds that Sahil is also acting irrationally, revealing that Sahil hired a hitman, Mathew, to kill Poorvi. He adds that Mathew never fails in his missions, but Jassi insists he will not let Poorvi die, then abruptly ends the call. Monisha, realizing Poorvi is likely already dead, smirks, thinking that her life is about to get a lot easier.
Elsewhere, Mathew and his gang are on the hunt for Poorvi. After a tense chase, they manage to catch up to her. Mathew grabs her by the hair and cruelly taunts her, asking whether he should give her a quick or painful death. He relishes in the thought of causing her suffering and picks up a blade to intensify her fear. Poorvi, terrified, begs to know why he wants to kill her, but Mathew dismisses her pleas, saying that she will die painfully because that’s what he enjoys. As he gets closer, Poorvi quickly throws sand into their eyes and makes a run for it.
Back with Diya and Yug, they are struggling to continue without fuel. Diya, feeling helpless, wonders how they will reach Poorvi in time. Yug encourages her to pray for a solution, and just when things seem hopeless, a car appears in the distance. Relieved, they flag down the vehicle and ask the passengers for petrol so they can keep searching for Poorvi.
Mathew’s men are still searching for Poorvi, growing anxious about their boss’s wrath if they fail. They spot her again and resume the chase. Meanwhile, Jassi receives a call from Shera, but he brushes it off, saying he has more important things to deal with than family drama.
Poorvi, exhausted from running, finds refuge at a roadside Dhaba. Desperate, she tries to call RV, but the Dhaba owner interrupts, offering her a seat and something to eat. Poorvi, still on edge, explains that her husband is on his way and that she feels uncomfortable sitting near the men gathered at the Dhaba. The owner understands and leaves her be. Meanwhile, RV arrives in the area, determined to find her.
At Neha’s house, Jassi barges in. Neha, expecting Sahil, opens the door and is immediately shoved to the ground. Furious, Jassi smashes a bottle and demands to know why Neha can’t seem to leave him alone. He accuses her of trying to ruin his life, blaming her boyfriend for blackmailing him. At the same time, RV continues his search, closing in on the Dhaba where Poorvi is hiding.
In the preview, one of Mathew’s men hits Poorvi on the head, leaving her unconscious on the road. Neha, speaking to Sahil, asks if Poorvi is dead. Sahil coldly replies that she probably is.
