Mangal Lakshmi 3rd October 2024 Written Episode Update: Mangal gets to know about Soumya
Scene 1
Kusum storms in, furious. “How dare you send my son to jail?” she shouts at Soumya.
Confused, Soumya asks, “What are you talking about?”
Kusum is not buying it. “Don’t pretend. I will drag you to the police myself. I know you called them from Lakshmi’s phone. Stop playing games. You’re doing all this to come between Mangal and Adit. He chose his wife over you, and now you want revenge? You need to stop this disgusting behavior!”
Soumya retorts, “Why would I do that? It was Lakshmi’s doing, not mine!”
Kusum shakes her head. “It was you. And I have proof.”
Angry, Soumya shouts, “Get out of here!” and shoves Kusum, causing her to fall. Mangal rushes in just in time to catch her mother. Furious, Mangal yells at Soumya, “How dare you lay a hand on my mother?”
Scene 2
Meanwhile, Karthik confronts Lakshmi. “I told you to stay with Mom! Why don’t you ever listen?”
Lakshmi tries to explain, “I was with her—”
But Karthik leaves before she can finish.
Back at Soumya’s, Mangal looks at her, full of anger. “How dare you touch my mother? Have you no shame? You’ve insulted my sister’s husband and our entire family. Mom, why didn’t you tell me what was happening sooner?”
Kusum sighs and explains she saw Soumya’s true colors and went to her house alone to confront her.
Mangal looks at Soumya with disbelief. “After everything, how could you do this to Adit? He and Lakshmi have been through so much, and he trusted you as a friend!”
Soumya defends herself, “You have no proof of any of this!”
Kusum speaks up, “We do have proof.”
Mangal continues, “Adit has always supported you, and you still betrayed him? He has suffered enough because of you. Now, apologize to my mother. Show her the respect she deserves, or do you want me to take you to the police?”
Kusum nods, “Yes, she should face the consequences. Take her to the police.”
Soumya, with a sly smile, says, “Go ahead. We’ll see whose truth comes out.”
Suspicious, Mangal asks, “What do you mean by that?”
Kusum pulls Mangal’s arm. “Let’s leave. We don’t need anything from her. Stay away from her and our family.” They leave without another word.
Once outside, Mangal asks Kusum, “Why did you go there alone? And what was she talking about?”
Kusum shakes her head. “She’s not a good person. We don’t need to get involved in her mess. We can’t become like her.” Kusum then heads to the temple to find peace.
Scene 3
Karthik decides to cancel his upcoming concert. Gayatri is stunned. “Why are you canceling? This is not like you at all.”
He explains, “Tomorrow is Lakshmi’s birthday, and I want to take her out for dinner.”
Gayatri frowns, “That’s not professional at all. How can you cancel a concert for her birthday? You were just mad at her, and now you’re abandoning your work for her? This could hurt your career!”
Karthik shrugs, “It’s important to me. Yes, she made a mistake, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t celebrate her birthday. It’s just one day in a year.”
Gayatri sighs, “She would understand if you celebrated later.”
Karthik, now frustrated, walks away without responding.
Later, Mangal tells Lakshmi everything. Lakshmi looks shocked. “Why didn’t you tell me before?”
Mangal explains, “I wanted to, but you weren’t home. I still can’t understand why Soumya would do something like this after Adit trusted her so much.”
Lakshmi thinks for a moment. “Maybe we should inform the police.”
Mangal shakes her head. “I already threatened her, but I don’t want to drag Adit through any more trouble. He deserves to know what kind of person Soumya really is.”
Lakshmi nods. “There must be more to Soumya’s behavior.”
Later, someone sneaks up and covers Mangal’s eyes, startling her. She turns, only to see Karthik grinning. “It’s just me,” he says.
He shares his idea, “I want to do something special for Lakshmi’s birthday. Let’s plan a surprise for her.” Mangal smiles, promising to keep it a secret.
Karthik gets busy preparing gifts for Lakshmi, and Ishana also helps with the planning. Meanwhile, Adit watches from a distance, still feeling bitter. He remembers how things led to his arrest. “Amazing, Mangal,” he mutters, sarcasm heavy in his voice. “She got me thrown in jail, and now you’re celebrating her birthday? Did you forget everything she did to me?”
Mangal tries to explain, “Adit, you have it all wrong. Lakshmi—”
But Adit cuts her off, “I’m done with her. I’m breaking all ties.”
Mangal shakes her head. “If you need to cut someone off, make it Soumya. She’s the one behind all of this.”
Adit stands there, torn between his anger and confusion, not sure what to believe.
