Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Vidya rebukes Abhira and Armaan

The episode starts with Abhira calling Krish, asking him to take Rohit and Ruhi out of the house so she can prepare a surprise for them. Meanwhile, Armaan enthusiastically declares that he’s going to spoil the new baby, promising to get it anything it wants. Both Armaan and Abhira go shopping for toys. During their trip, they spot the same toy and get into a light-hearted argument over it. After a moment, they realize they are both shopping for the same reason and laugh it off, continuing their shopping together.

In another part of the story, Ruhi finds herself puzzled by a scheduled five-hour yoga class and questions it, saying, “Five hours? That’s a lot!” Rohit also finds it strange, and Charu quickly explains that there will also be a massage therapy session. Aryan tries to elaborate, but Krish just laughs. Ruhi, noticing how eager everyone is to get them into the class, comments on their excitement. Rohit agrees, and Charu responds that it’s their responsibility to take care of the baby. With that, Rohit and Ruhi leave, and Krish quickly updates Abhira that they have left.

Back at the store, a worker congratulates Armaan and Abhira for their baby, and they thank him with tears in their eyes. “We should go,” Abhira says after getting Krish’s message, and they return home to see everyone preparing to paint the baby’s room. The song “Jo Dil Se Kahe…” plays in the background as they work together, painting and laughing. Dadi and Manisha observe them, and Manisha, noticing their struggles, asks Dadi if there’s anything they can do to help Armaan and Abhira. Dadi responds that true happiness must come from within, and if their relationship is fragile, there’s not much anyone can do to help.

As they paint, Armaan playfully lifts Abhira in his arms, and everyone shares a joyful moment, getting paint all over each other. However, amidst the fun, Abhira begins to recall all of their struggles and tears up, feeling overwhelmed. She hides under a blanket, murmuring, “I was so silly to think this was all perfect.” The sadness is evident in her voice. Later on, Rohit and Ruhi are brought to the room, and they find it beautifully decorated for the baby. The sight brings tears to Ruhi’s eyes, and she remembers her childhood. Seeing her reaction, Rohit gently asks if she’s in pain.

Ruhi smiles and says, “No, I’m just really happy. This room looks wonderful. I read in a pregnancy book that sometimes emotions make you cry. Thank you all so much, I truly love it.” Krish then adds that it was Abhira’s idea, and both Armaan and Abhira smile warmly. Ruhi gives Abhira a tight hug and says, “I love butterflies.” Abhira nods, saying, “I had a feeling, so I got this toy for you. It’s yours now.” Ruhi thanks her sincerely, and Armaan quietly leaves the room.

Suddenly, Vidya arrives and pulls Ruhi away from Abhira, scolding them for what they did. She then takes Ruhi away and makes some hurtful comments toward Abhira. Feeling deeply hurt, Abhira later finds Armaan and clings to him for comfort. Armaan, sensing her distress, asks what’s wrong and why everyone seems upset. Meanwhile, Vidya makes a scene, announcing that Rohit and Ruhi will have to stay in the guest room for now. She questions why Armaan and Abhira decided to turn their room into a baby’s room without even telling her, adding that the guest room is too small for a couple. Krish admits that the bed in the guest room was broken because of them.

Aryan steps in to help, suggesting that Krish could move into his room, and Rohit could use Aryan’s room instead. Vidya quickly intervenes, insisting that since Rohit and Ruhi are starting a family, they should have the biggest room in the house. She then orders Armaan and Abhira to vacate their room. The entire group feels the tension, but Armaan and Abhira agree to move without arguing. Vidya firmly states that it’s been decided—Rohit and Ruhi will take their room. Ruhi, however, protests, saying she doesn’t want to take over someone else’s space and prefers staying in her own room. Frustrated, Vidya asks why no one consulted her.

Dadi stands quietly as Vidya continues, saying, “We’ll prepare the largest room for the baby. There was no need to rush all of this.” Armaan admits that Vidya is right and that he and Abhira might have acted impulsively. Rohit tries to defend them, expressing how much the surprise meant to them, but Vidya dismisses his words. “Don’t get carried away by emotions where they don’t matter,” she says. “Don’t be so kind that you regret it later.” Armaan quickly stops Rohit from arguing further. Manisha then urges Dadi to intervene, but the situation escalates, and Vidya accuses Manisha of trying to turn Dadi against her. The argument heats up, and in frustration, Dadi leaves the scene.

In the preview for the next episode, Sanjay reveals that Manish has transferred half of his property to Abhira, pointing out that Ruhi and Abhira are actually sisters. This revelation leads to Ruhi and Abhira reconciling, and they share an emotional hug. However, Sanjay ominously warns Abhira that her life is about to get more difficult and hints that he is planning to reveal a truth that could change everything.
