Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 29th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Abhira’s first rasoi

The episode begins with Ruhi happily telling Abhira that she’s glad she didn’t leave the house. Not long after, Manish calls Ruhi to ask about Abhira and if everything is alright. Abhira quickly signals Ruhi not to reveal anything important. Ruhi tells Manish everything is fine, and they’ve just been busy with family rituals. She then hands the phone to Abhira, who reassures Manish not to worry—they’re both okay. Feeling comforted, Manish says he’s relieved. Ruhi excuses herself, saying Buasa is calling her, and ends the call. Afterward, Abhira thanks Ruhi for not telling Manish about their troubles.

Elsewhere, Manish tells Swarna that his promise to Akshu and Aarohi will soon be fulfilled. Swarna asks what he means, and he explains that his promise is to make sure Ruhi stays happy. They smile warmly at each other. Meanwhile, Sanjay tells Kajal he tried his best to convince Maasa, but she was determined to stop Abhira and Armaan. Kajal starts arguing, but Ruhi arrives and tells him not to make things worse. Sanjay sarcastically points out how much she’s changed, and Ruhi firmly replies that she’s learned from her mistakes and he should do the same. She then walks away.

Later, Ruhi remembers what Armaan said to her while looking at his photos. Emotional, she admits to herself that she hurt Armaan, Rohit, and both families. Wanting to move on and be happy, she decides to let go of her stubbornness. She takes the pictures and burns them, crying as she makes a promise to herself for a fresh start. She accepts that Armaan was never truly hers and decides not to look back.

Meanwhile, Abhira brings dinner to Armaan, but finds him already asleep. The song “Pal ek pal” plays softly as she sits beside him and watches over him, then lies down next to him without eating.

Later, Ruhi falls while sitting on a broken couch. Worried, Rohit asks if she’s okay. She jokingly wonders how the couch broke, and he teases her about eating too many sweets lately. She says they’ll fix it tomorrow and that she’ll sleep in the guest room tonight. Before leaving, she wishes him goodnight. Rohit reminds her that she said it’s her room too and tells her she can stay if she’s comfortable. He gently holds her hand.

The next morning, Abhira wakes up and decides to wake Armaan lovingly. She kisses him, but he wakes up suddenly, crying out for his mother and telling her not to leave him. Realizing where he is, Armaan sees Abhira beside him, and she smiles, saying she needs to get ready for the “first rasoi” (the first meal prepared after marriage). She knows he’s still upset over his mother’s actions and tries to get him to open up, but he stays quiet.

Elsewhere, Rohit wonders if Ruhi went to the guest room after he fell asleep. Just then, Ruhi walks in with tea, asking what he wants for lunch. She also brings suits for him and suggests they take Vidya shopping, adding that she could pick out some formal shirts for him. Sensing her sudden change in attitude, Rohit asks what caused it. Ruhi thinks about Armaan’s words, tears up, and avoids answering. Rohit hugs her, saying he’s just happy that the old Ruhi seems to be back.

Meanwhile, Armaan is taking a shower when Abhira knocks on the door, asking him to pass her the engagement ring. He finds it and tells her to wait a moment, but she impatiently reminds him it’s her first rasoi and she’s in a hurry. She leaves after getting the ring, but slips in the hallway. Armaan catches her just in time, and they end up in the shower together, sharing an intimate moment. He moves closer to kiss her but suddenly remembers Vidya’s curse and stops. He tells Abhira that she’s getting late. She, sensing his hesitation, says she understands that they’re both worried about his mother, but wishes he would talk to her about it. Armaan tells her to go on, leaving Abhira feeling hurt.

Abhira gets ready for the ceremony, and Manisha tells her everything is set up for her to make kheer (sweet rice pudding). Abhira agrees and begins to cook. Manisha asks if everything is okay, and Ruhi arrives just in time. Abhira tries to shift the focus by saying she’s feeling hungry. Manisha teases her, asking if Armaan didn’t bring her kachoris as he planned with his cousins. Abhira smiles, pretending she had some, but admits she’s still hungry. She then serves the kheer to everyone, and they all smile.

Seeing that Vidya hasn’t come, Abhira decides to bring kheer to her. However, Vidya throws the spoon away and instead serves food to Rohit, ignoring Abhira. Armaan looks visibly sad seeing this, and Abhira watches, unsure what to do. Madhav steps in and praises her kheer, giving her shagun (a token of good luck). Kajal and the others also give shagun, but Dadi stops Abhira before she leaves. She tells Abhira she has a special gift for her and hands her a letter. Surprised, Abhira reads it aloud—it’s a job offer from the Poddar firm. Armaan looks stunned. Sanjay questions why Dadi is breaking her own rules, but Dadi confidently says that she can make and break the rules in her own home and company. She encourages Abhira to join the firm, adding that it will also give her more time with Armaan, but leaves the final decision up to her.
