Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn May Delay Singham Again Release to November 15
The much-anticipated Diwali 2024 clash between Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Rohit Shetty’s star-studded Singham Again may be avoided. Reports suggest that the makers of Singham Again are considering delaying the release by two weeks. Over the past few days, discussions have been ongoing between Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Jio Studios, Reliance Entertainment, and producer Kumar Mangat to finalize the release plan.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Horror comedies like Stree 2 have done really well, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is now a strong competitor. The Singham Again team is thinking about moving the release to November 15 instead of November 1 to avoid any competition.” This would give Singham Again a better shot at having the box office to itself.
The source continued, “Since Singham Again is a big-budget film, the makers are carefully considering both release dates. They want to ensure the movie has the best chance to succeed, especially with horror comedies being so popular right now. The final decision will be made in the next 24 hours, but it’s clear that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 could be a big hit, especially with a cast that includes Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri.”
Singham Again is one of the most awaited films of the year, featuring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Given the star power involved, the team wants to ensure the film has the best chance to perform well at the box office without any distractions.
