Ranbir Kapoor excluded Ranveer Singh from his bachelor trip, leaving Padmaavat star upset

In an old episode of Koffee With Karan, Ranbir Kapoor surprised everyone, including Ranveer Singh, when he didn’t include Ranveer in the list of actors he’d like to take on his bachelor trip. Even though the two stars are often seen as competitors, they have a friendly relationship, which made Ranbir’s choice unexpected. During the rapid-fire round, Ranbir quickly named Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Aditya Roy Kapur as his preferred travel buddies. Ranveer, clearly disappointed, jokingly said, “I’m not invited? I’m never coming back on this show, at least not with you.”

Despite the light-hearted teasing, it was obvious there were no bad feelings between them. In fact, Ranbir went on to say that he hoped Ranveer and Deepika Padukone, who were dating at the time, would have “awesome babies” together. When Karan Johar asked if things ever felt awkward between them since both had dated Deepika, Ranbir quickly shot it down, saying it had been over 10 years since their relationship ended. He added, “We’ve moved on, and it’s time Koffee With Karan moves on too. There’s no elephant in the room; it’s invisible now.” Ranveer agreed, adding, “Why should it be awkward? It’s not.”

Ranbir also praised Ranveer and Deepika’s relationship, saying they complement each other perfectly. He even joked again that their future kids should look like him and think of him as their favorite actor.

Currently, Ranbir is filming for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana with Sai Pallavi and Yash. Meanwhile, Ranveer and Deepika are enjoying their new role as parents, having welcomed their daughter on September 8, 2024.
