Mangal Lakshmi 30th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Lakshmi tries to spy on Soumya
Scene 1
Mangal insists, “I don’t need to read this; I know it’s your office paper, and I won’t understand it.” Soumya calls Adit, asking if he has Mangal’s signature. Adit replies, “How could I do that?” She insists she has another copy and will get Mangal to sign it herself. Adit pleads with her, but she hangs up.
Later, Mangal participates in a prayer ceremony with his family. He acknowledges his mother, saying, “Amma, you fasted for all of us.” She breaks her fast, and Kusum adds, “You fasted for everyone too.” Mangal reassures them, “I’ll eat; don’t worry.” Akshar expresses his curiosity about the meaning of divorce. Kusum asks where he heard that word, and Adit suggests he probably learned it from TV. Akshar insists, “No, I want to understand what it means.” Kusum urges him to stay away from such negative words. Mangal supports Akshar’s curiosity, but Kusum insists children shouldn’t be exposed to these ideas. Adit agrees and tells Akshar to promise Dadi he won’t use that term again.
Scene 2
Soumya confronts Lipika, saying, “I can expose everything about you.” When she calls Lipika, Lipika responds, “You can’t scare me.” Soumya starts reading Lipika’s messages with her boyfriend, making Lipika anxious. “Did you hack my account?” Lipika asks, worried. Soumya replies, “So, will you do what I ask?” Lipika tries to brush her off, saying, “I’ll drag you and Adit down with me.” Soumya counters, “That would help me; I could show everything to Mangal.” Lipika grows more concerned.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi remembers how Soumya learned about the case. Gayatri leaves for a prayer, and Lakshmi thinks it might be her chance to find out more about Soumya. Soumya sends Mangal images of Lipika, but he doesn’t see them. Lipika, feeling uneasy, asks, “Are you scared now?” She leaves, and Shanti asks what’s wrong. Lipika responds, “I need to go somewhere.”
Scene 3
A group of women from an NGO visits Mangal and says, “We support women facing domestic violence. Please don’t drop your case; your husband could hurt you more.” Mangal firmly replies, “I’m fine; I’m happy.” One woman insists, “Leave a man who doesn’t respect you and start over. We’ll help you become independent, and you’ll receive alimony.” Kusum interjects, “That’s nonsense! Just stop.” The women respond, “You should stay out of this.”
Scene 4
Lakshmi arrives at Soumya’s office, pretending to be a new maid. Soumya asks, “Who are you?” Mangal interrupts, saying, “You claim to help women, but only when it’s necessary. You can’t just assume someone is a victim without evidence. I’m happy; my husband has never harmed me. False accusations are serious. Divorce is not a joke. This is all a misunderstanding.” The women reply, “You’re just putting up with it.” Mangal retorts, “My family is everything to me. My mother-in-law cares for me like a daughter. I don’t need your help.” The women then leave.
Lakshmi claims, “I’m the cleaning staff.” Soumya demands, “Show me your face; take off the mask.” As Lakshmi begins to cough, Soumya steps back, saying, “Oh no, stay away from me.” Lakshmi tries to reveal her foot, hoping it matches a photo on her phone, and pleads for forgiveness. Mangal expresses frustration at the pressure on him, and Adit reassures him, “Don’t worry about it.” Mangal adds, “They’re pushing for a divorce when I don’t even want one.”
