Mangal Lakshmi 22 September 2024 Written Episode Update: Soumya’s Quick Move

Scene 1

Karthik says, “Come on, let’s go.” Lakshmi replies, “Adit bought this saree for Mangal, and he said he got it from a shop near Chandni Chowk.” Karthik reassures her, “There are lots of sarees like that in the market. Don’t stress about it. Focus on the wedding—you’ll look great.” Lakshmi nods and leaves.

Meanwhile, Shanti asks Soumya to help decorate the house, but Soumya seems irritated. Shanti insists, “Please hang up the roses. It’s my daughter’s wedding, after all.” She also tells Soumya, “You’ll be sleeping in the hall with the rest of us tonight.” Later, after everyone falls asleep, Soumya sneaks out and picks up Mangal’s wedding dress. She whispers to herself, “I’ll take Adit’s name off your hands.” Mangal walks into the hall, spots her wedding dress, and wonders, “Who left this here?” Soumya has already taken photos of it by then.

Lakshmi calls Mangal, asking, “Where’s Soumya?” Mangal replies, “She’s sleeping in the hall.” Adit overhears the conversation and becomes curious about why Kusum is keeping Soumya there. He calls Soumya, asking her to meet him outside. When they meet, Soumya angrily says, “You just want me out of the house so you can enjoy your wedding, right?” Just then, Lakshmi shows up, and Adit pretends he’s talking to his boss. Shanti wakes up and asks Soumya, “Where did you go?” Soumya lies, “I was in the bathroom.” Adit, staying calm, tells Lakshmi, “I’ve got some work calls,” and quickly deletes his call history.

Scene 2

The next morning, Mangal is getting ready for the wedding. She performs the arti with her family, and Kusum and Shanti bless her. Lakshmi gets a video call from Lipika, and everyone wishes Mangal a happy anniversary. Soumya teases, “Can I get some arti too?”

Just then, a delivery man arrives with a package. Soumya takes it and says, “It’s mine.” Shanti asks, “What’s inside?” Soumya replies, “It’s my clothes for the wedding.” Shanti, curious as ever, demands, “Show it to us.”

Meanwhile, Adit is also getting ready. Akshar compliments him, saying, “You look like a hero today.” Gayatri asks Lakshmi to help Adit tie his turban. As she does, Adit asks, “What do you want in return for this?” Lakshmi says, “Promise me that you’ll always keep my sister happy. Be truthful and stand by her no matter what.” Adit reassures her, “I promise. I’ll keep every vow I make today.” Karthik and Akshar start dancing to lighten the mood. Mangal turns to Kusum and says, “It’s okay, we don’t need to see your dress now.”
