Kumkum Bhagya 29th October 2024 Written Episode Update: RV refrains Poorvi from keeping fast
The episode opens with Diya expressing to Poorvi how grateful she is to Jiju for saving her life. Concerned, Poorvi asks about RV’s location. Diya informs her that he’s gone to Nethra’s house to confront her boyfriend, Sahil, whom Diya believes is behind the recent trouble. To prove her point, Diya even shows Poorvi something on her phone. Meanwhile, Neha tries to defend Sahil to RV, insisting he isn’t capable of such a plot. RV, however, warns her that if Sahil is guilty, he’ll make him regret his actions. He reminds her of the time Sahil wronged Poorvi and vows that Sahil won’t get away with it this time, leaving Neha visibly shaken.
Monisha observes RV’s unusual anger and asks why he seems so different. She points out that he hadn’t reacted this strongly even when Nethra accused him. RV replies that he can’t stand by while anyone harms Poorvi. Monisha mentions Neha’s belief in Sahil’s innocence, but RV dismisses it, promising to ensure that Sahil learns his lesson. Monisha becomes uneasy, sensing an intensifying conflict.
Seeing RV’s fury, Neha packs Sahil’s belongings and urges him to go somewhere safe, fearing RV will come after him once Poorvi recovers. Though reluctant to leave her alone, Sahil promises to stay close by in Mumbai. Neha warns him not to underestimate RV, suggesting they’ve stirred up more trouble than expected by hurting Poorvi. After saying goodbye, Sahil reluctantly leaves, leaving Neha worried and alone.
Back at the hospital, Diya stays with Poorvi despite Poorvi’s encouragement for her to return home. Diya explains that she’s already told her family she’ll be with a friend for a few days. She lightens the moment by making Poorvi smile, reminding her that she always looks better with a smile.
RV arrives shortly after and steps out of his car, while Monisha watches curiously as he approaches another car where Yug and a private investigator are waiting. The investigator assures RV they’re closing in on Sahil and shows him a photo for confirmation. Monisha realizes that Poorvi has complicated her plans with RV. RV then offers to drop Monisha off, but she hesitates, mentioning she left her purse at his place, and RV agrees to go back for it.
At the house, Poorvi and Diya come into the hallway, surprising the nurse who suggests Poorvi should be resting. Harleen also insists Poorvi take it easy, but Poorvi assures them that she’s trying to build up her strength by walking a little. RV soon arrives with Yug and Monisha, and Dadi begins discussing preparations for Karva Chauth, an upcoming festival where married women fast for their husbands’ well-being. Poorvi, despite her weakened state, offers to help Dadi with the preparations. Monisha mocks Poorvi’s condition, doubting she’s fit for any involvement.
RV intervenes, urging Poorvi to avoid fasting for her own health. Yug backs up his concern, reminding Poorvi that her well-being is everyone’s priority. Harleen and Dadi join in, advising Poorvi against observing the fast, but she insists it’s important since it’s her first Karva Chauth. However, the doctor checks her vitals and advises against fasting, saying she needs regular food and medication. Reluctantly, Poorvi agrees not to fast, promising RV, Dadi, and Harleen that she’ll follow their advice.
Later, RV escorts Poorvi to her room and shares the story of a man who passed away despite his wife’s fasting, explaining his fears for her health. Though disappointed, Poorvi assures him she understands, acknowledging that their relationship isn’t conventional. Monisha overhears and is thrilled, feeling that RV still belongs to her.
Meanwhile, Yug and Diya share a light-hearted moment. Yug jokingly compliments her, and they laugh as they discuss future fasting traditions, with Diya teasing that she’ll only fast after marriage.
Monisha, feeling determined, decides she’ll fast for RV herself, convinced that her devotion will prove her loyalty and strengthen her bond with him.
