Kumkum Bhagya 23rd October 2024 Written Episode Update: RV’s quest for Poorvi takes him to cemetery

The episode begins with James informing Jassi that Mathew, a dangerous serial killer, is currently hiding at Nethra’s house. Jassi, surprised, asks if James is certain. James confirms and adds that Mathew took Poorvi to a cemetery but has since moved her to an unknown location. Jassi tells Tiger to drive quickly. James advises Jassi to directly confront Mathew, noting that Mathew works for money and might reveal Poorvi’s location if offered enough cash. He suggests Jassi stay calm and offer the money to find out if Poorvi is still alive. Jassi, holding back his anger, directs Tiger to head to the cemetery.

Meanwhile, Poorvi regains consciousness and considers calling RV for help. She switches on her phone and manages to make an emergency call. RV, relieved, answers and tells her how worried he’s been. Diya, sitting beside him, tells RV to ask Poorvi where she is. RV informs Poorvi that they’ve been searching the containers but haven’t found her yet. Confused, Poorvi tells him she’s inside what she believes to be a container. However, Mathew, speaking nearby, tells Sahil that Poorvi mistakenly thinks she’s in a container when in reality, she’s buried inside a coffin at a Christian cemetery.

Poorvi, still disoriented, hears someone praying in English, possibly reading from the Bible, and mentions it to RV. A nearby worker confirms that Christians pray like this, typically in either a church or a cemetery. Realizing this, RV concludes that Poorvi is trapped in a coffin underground. Mathew continues to mock the situation, saying Poorvi won’t survive long because insects and creatures from the soil will soon reach her. Poorvi notices a rat and a snake entering the coffin and frantically tells RV, while also praying for help.

At the same time, Monisha tries to contact Jassi. Tiger informs Jassi that his phone is ringing, but Jassi refuses to answer, not wanting to talk to Monisha. She tries calling again, but Jassi stays uninterested and tells Tiger to turn off the phone. Moments later, he reconsiders, thinking his uncle might call. When he finally answers, Monisha informs him that Nethra assaulted her and took money to pay her boyfriend to kill Poorvi. She warns Jassi that Nethra is slipping out of control. Angered, Jassi reveals that Poorvi has been buried alive and that he’s on his way to the cemetery. Alarmed, Monisha hurries to stop him, jumping into her car.

Poorvi, still terrified in the coffin, is panicking as Mathew continues to brag about orchestrating her painful death. He remarks that the lightning seems like God himself is checking on her, making sure she’s dead. He taunts further, saying Poorvi’s bad luck sealed her fate, as he wouldn’t have been hired to kill her otherwise. Mathew coldly states that either the insects will end her life or the rainwater will seep into the coffin and drown her.

Meanwhile, RV is driving urgently, with Diya guiding him on the directions. He hopes Poorvi has enough strength to hold on until they reach her. Monisha, determined to stop Jassi from rescuing Poorvi, decides to ram into his car to knock him out. She also wonders if RV will reach Poorvi in time and calls him to check. Poorvi, still trapped, continues crying for help.

At home, Dadu is anxious and asks Harman for updates on Poorvi. Harman tries to call RV but can’t get through. Dadi expresses concern, wondering why RV hasn’t picked up yet, but Harman guesses that RV might be somewhere without reception. He tries calling again but with no luck. Meanwhile, Monisha, frustrated with the situation, calls RV and demands to know where Poorvi is. RV assures her that he’s close to finding her and promises to bring her home safely. Monisha, feigning concern, agrees, noting that the family’s reputation is at stake. After hanging up, she refocuses on her plan to stop Jassi.

Driving toward Jassi’s car at full speed, Monisha plans to stop him by any means necessary. Jassi spots her approaching and realizes that revealing the truth to her was a mistake. He fears she’s trying to kill him to prevent him from saving Poorvi. As Monisha’s car rams into his, Jassi shouts that if anything happens to him, she’ll face serious consequences. Both cars crash, and they are knocked unconscious.

At the cemetery, Poorvi desperately knocks on the coffin, trying to make any sound she can. RV, Yug, and Diya arrive and call out for her. RV yells her name, but Diya reminds him that Poorvi likely can’t hear him from inside the coffin. Aware that time is running out, especially with the rain starting to pour, RV urges them to find her before the grave floods. They search for newly dug graves, spotting three fresh ones as the rain intensifies.
