Kumkum Bhagya 14th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Mathew stops Poorvi-Jassi’s marriage

The episode opens with ACP arriving at the police station where RV, filled with urgency, presses him to start the investigation immediately. However, ACP requests some time to gather information, which frustrates RV, who insists they don’t have any time to waste. An inspector remarks that ACP is acting as if he’s handling everything alone, making it seem like they’re not doing anything. The commissioner steps in, reminding everyone that Poorvi is RV’s wife and RV is deeply involved in finding her. He emphasizes that, as the one in charge, he’s handling the case officially and lawfully, so no one should interfere. RV, still anxious, asks how they can find Poorvi quickly. Just then, someone hands over a document, and ACP notes that their first step should be locating Jassi.

Meanwhile, Jassi is on the other side, beginning a countdown and threatening to break down the door if Poorvi doesn’t open it. As he reaches “one,” Poorvi opens the door, wearing bridal attire, complete with a garland around her neck. Jassi, clearly pleased, tells her that they make the perfect couple and compliments her appearance. Poorvi, visibly upset, tells him not to touch her. Jassi, mocking her, says it’s good that she’s behaving like a traditional, modest woman, full of values. He claims that once they are married, he will have the right to be close to her. With a loaded gun in his hand, Jassi forces Poorvi to walk with him. He then proudly announces to his men that his bride has arrived. Jassi wraps a ghatbandhan cloth around them and instructs Shera to tie it. He warns Poorvi that if she doesn’t cooperate, he will kill her, RV, and then himself. Ignoring her tears, Jassi begins the wedding rounds, dragging Poorvi along.

Back at the station, news breaks that ACP Rahul Jadav has officially taken charge of Poorvi Malhotra’s case. Dadu feels relieved, believing that this is a positive development, while Harman confidently states that Poorvi will soon be found. The reporters highlight ACP Jadav’s remarkable track record of solving cases in under two hours. Meanwhile, Deepika expresses concern to Monisha about Jassi potentially getting caught, but Monisha brushes off her worries. Deepika warns Monisha that if Jassi is caught, she could be banned from the house. Monisha dismisses this, saying Jassi hasn’t been caught yet, so there’s nothing to worry about. However, Deepika insists Monisha should think about getting Poorvi back before things get worse. Monisha, frustrated, remarks that Jassi is obsessed with Poorvi, though she doesn’t understand why.

As the forced wedding ceremony continues, Shera informs Jassi that they’ve completed four rounds. Suddenly, Mathew arrives with his men and demands they stop everything. Approaching Jassi and Poorvi, he pulls out a photo, comparing it to Poorvi, and confirms she is the one they are looking for. Jassi, startled, asks who Mathew is, but before he can react, Mathew knocks Jassi to the ground. Jassi’s men spring into action, ready to fight, but Mathew confidently says he can handle them alone. A brawl breaks out between Mathew’s men and Jassi’s group, creating enough chaos for Poorvi to strike Jassi with a burning log from the ceremonial fire and run for her life. Furious, Jassi, now with a burn on his hand, chases after her.

As the fight continues, Mathew reveals to Jassi that someone hired him to kill Poorvi. Jassi demands to know who ordered her assassination, but Mathew refuses to say. Mathew’s men hold Jassi down, and Mathew declares he’ll go after Poorvi himself. At the same time, ACP Jadav assures RV that they’re getting closer to finding Poorvi’s location. The media covers the developments, with a reporter predicting that this case will bring down Jassi’s political aspirations. RV, however, is focused solely on rescuing Poorvi, ignoring any political implications.

Elsewhere, Vaishali regains consciousness after being knocked out. Her husband, Jaswant, is by her side, explaining that she was given strong medicine due to a head injury. Concerned, Vaishali asks about Juhi, and Jaswant reassures her that Vikrant took her home. He then informs Vaishali that Poorvi has been kidnapped by Jassi and that the search for her is still ongoing. RV, he explains, is leading the efforts from the police station.

Back at home, Monisha prays that Jassi successfully marries Poorvi and flees the country with her. Deepika scolds Monisha for her selfish thinking, reminding her that kidnapping is a crime and that Poorvi must be terrified. Monisha dismisses Deepika’s concern, but Dadi overhears the conversation. Dadi confronts Monisha, angry that she could even think this way about Poorvi. Dadi emphasizes that this is not only about Poorvi’s safety but also about RV’s honor. Monisha, trying to defend herself, claims she’s only thinking about the family, but Dadi isn’t convinced. Deepika attempts to smooth things over by reminding Monisha that they are good people and should be more compassionate.

Back in the forest, Mathew, armed with a sword, is tracking Poorvi. He finds her garland and footprints, confirming that she’s nearby. He follows the trail, determined to find her.

Meanwhile, Vikrant returns home and asks for updates. Harman informs him that RV has gone with the ACP to search for Poorvi. Dadu prays that nothing bad happens to Poorvi, confident in her goodness. Harman assures everyone that they’ll soon receive positive news. However, Dadi, cautious as ever, warns that no good can come from Jassi’s involvement in anything.

In the next scene, RV confronts Jassi’s uncle, demanding the safe return of his wife and threatening dire consequences if anything happens to her. Meanwhile, Mathew, sword in hand, closes in on Poorvi, ready to carry out his deadly mission.
