Kumkum Bhagya 10th October 2024 Written Episode Update: RV seeks Media’s help to search Poorvi
The episode begins with Deepika apologizing to Dadi, explaining that she hadn’t intended to keep anything from her. Harleen, upset about the media’s constant coverage of their family, remarks that their family’s reputation is being dragged into drama. Harman suggests turning off the TV, but Harleen insists they watch to see what’s being reported. On the news, they hear that RV Malhotra’s wife, Poorvi, hasn’t actually been kidnapped but has left the house herself, unable to handle the news of her husband’s upcoming marriage. Dadi urges Harman to contact the reporter and clear up the misunderstanding. Just then, they notice RV exiting the police station.
The reporters crowd around RV, asking if his family failed to protect Poorvi and whether she left on her own. Diya and Yug quickly defend him, asking the media not to make false assumptions. RV steps forward, calmly explaining there’s no point in arguing with the media, but he promises to reveal the truth. He clarifies that Poorvi didn’t leave voluntarily—she was kidnapped during the family’s sangeet ceremony while everyone was distracted. RV shares that the police delayed his complaint, asking him to wait for the right time. He then appeals to the public, showing a photo of Poorvi and asking anyone with information to come forward and help find her.
Meanwhile, Mathew tells Sahil that whenever he accepts a job, he thoroughly investigates the people involved. His men show a video of RV discussing Poorvi’s kidnapping. Mathew then questions Sahil if he had hired someone else to handle the job. Sahil denies it, clarifying that his intention wasn’t to kidnap Poorvi but to have her killed. Mathew, suspicious, tells him that no one can hide the truth when faced with a sword. He suggests that Sahil now has two tasks: finding Poorvi and killing her, for which they’ll need an additional 10 lakhs. Sahil agrees and heads to his car to retrieve the money.
Elsewhere, Poorvi is desperately running, trying to escape her captors. She hides when she sees Jasbir’s men searching for her. Jasbir, aware of her presence, calls out to her, saying he knows she’s nearby and watching. He taunts her, explaining that even if she escapes the warehouse, she’ll be stuck in the jungle, surrounded by dangerous animals. He claims he loves her deeply but warns that if she doesn’t come out, she might end up being attacked by one of the wild animals. Poorvi tries to make a run for it, but Jasbir’s men catch her before she can get away.
Back at the house, RV, with growing desperation, pleads with the media to help him find Poorvi, emphasizing that everything she did was out of love for him. He urges the reporters to use their platform to pressure the police into acting quickly. Touched by his appeal, the reporters agree to help and ask RV what they can do. He suggests that they push the police to launch an active search, and the reporters head out to do just that.
At home, Monisha arrives and asks about the family’s well-being. Deepika, suspicious of her intentions, accuses Monisha of being involved in Poorvi’s disappearance. Monisha, irritated, sarcastically says that whoever planned it did the right thing. Deepika then shares that Vaishali and Juhi believe Jassi is behind the kidnapping. Startled, Monisha warns her not to mention Jassi’s name and immediately calls him to confront him. Jassi dismisses her concerns, explaining that RV and Poorvi would have likely run off with money if they had waited until after RV’s marriage. Jassi then scolds his men for being distracted by Neha’s dance performance and orders them to stay focused. He ends the call by revealing his plan to marry Poorvi that same day.
Monisha is left in shock, realizing how serious Jassi is about his intentions. As the rest of the family gathers, she updates them on the situation, saying that Vikrant has gone to drop Juhi home. Meanwhile, Sahil delivers the 10 lakhs to Mathew, who assures him that they will find Poorvi and eliminate her. Armed with weapons, Mathew and his men set off to carry out the plan.
Tensions rise when the police inspector orders the media to stop filming, but RV insists everything be done transparently. He confronts the inspector, accusing the police of failing to act on his wife’s kidnapping report. Diya, echoing RV’s frustration, questions why the police are waiting for something terrible to happen before they take action. The inspector, offended by the remarks, tells Diya to be respectful, but Yug jumps in to defend her. RV urges the inspector to act quickly and find Poorvi before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Jassi watches RV’s live broadcast and decides to rush his plan to marry Poorvi.
Poorvi, standing her ground, refuses to marry Jassi, declaring that love is from the heart and her heart belongs to RV. She boldly tells Jassi that her connection to RV is unbreakable, symbolized by the sacred kumkum in her hair, which no one can remove—not even Jassi. Angered by her defiance, Jassi raises his hand to strike her but stops himself at the last moment.
In the next scene, Jassi forces Poorvi to put a garland around his neck, insisting that she’s wasting time. At the same time, RV demands that the inspector take action immediately. Meanwhile, Jassi informs Sahil that Poorvi is now in his custody and threatens her to change into bridal clothes within five minutes or face deadly consequences.
