Jhanak 27th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Jhanak gets Praised

The episode begins with Mrinalini asking Lalon to stay a bit longer, saying they’re all together now and she even got time off from school. Lalon, however, says he needs to get back to work, or the boys will end up making a tiny pandal for the Durga idol. Before leaving, he takes Dadi’s blessings, and she jokes with him. Dadi also tells him not to take Rumi’s words too seriously. Lalon reassures her, saying he knows Appu doesn’t show favoritism, or she wouldn’t have married him. Bablu talks about how Lalon used to live in a big house, and Choton adds that maybe he’ll get it back someday. Annoyed by the chatter, Shubh tells Rumi and Tanuja to go to their room, and they leave. Dadi then says it’s time to start the ritual, and Anjana performs the aarti for them.

Meanwhile, on set, Jhanak gets ready for her scene. Aditya notices her, compliments her, and jokingly tells her to think of Anirudh during their romantic scene to make it more convincing. His joke hurts her, but he quickly apologizes, and they get ready to shoot. The director praises Aditya for not needing much direction, and as he explains the scene to Jhanak, she can’t stop thinking about Anirudh. During the take, she accidentally shouts Anirudh’s name. The director comments that the scene was ruined, but Aditya finds it amusing and tells her it’s okay, even though they have to reshoot the whole scene. Aditya asks for a five-minute break, understanding she got emotional during the shot. Jhanak thanks him for being patient and follows him off set.

Elsewhere, Choton drops Mrinalini off at school after she received an urgent call. She tells him there was no need to drop her off as she usually goes alone. Choton reveals that Anjana set this up so they could talk. They exchange some playful banter, but Choton lets slip that he cares for those he loves. Surprised, Mrinalini asks if he just said “love.” Choton, flustered, tries to backtrack, feeling she would never be interested in someone like him. Mrinalini, now irritated, accuses him of avoiding responsibility and being a coward. Choton opens up about his lack of money, but Mrinalini tells him life is about more than just money—it’s about having heart. Embarrassed, Choton admits he loves her, but Mrinalini is left stunned. He quickly apologizes, and she scolds him for lacking ambition and seriousness. Choton, feeling guilty, agrees and tells her to find a better man to marry. Frustrated, she tells him to stop talking nonsense.

At home, Anirudh returns, and Appu warmly hugs him, asking about Jhanak. But the mood shifts when Arshi starts an argument, saying she doesn’t want to stay in the house anymore and blames Anirudh for her unhappiness. Appu steps in, defending Anirudh and accusing Arshi of acting like Bipasha. Meanwhile, Shrishti takes out her anger on Anjana and Lalon, but Anirudh steps in to stop her. Bipasha tries to calm things down, but Shrishti insists she needs to talk to Anirudh privately. He refuses, saying they can talk in front of everyone because he has nothing to hide.

Back on set, Jhanak and Aditya reshoot the scene. This time, Jhanak nails her performance, and the crew claps in appreciation. The director praises her, and Aditya congratulates her on a great job. Meanwhile, Lalon suggests that he and Appu leave, but Bablu stops him, reminding him that they’re here for the ritual. Tanuja questions Lalon’s place in the house, but Anjana defends him, saying they have just as much right to stay there as anyone else. Bipasha throws in a sarcastic comment, which Bablu immediately shuts down. Anirudh, determined to settle things openly, insists that they talk in front of everyone, despite Bablu’s hesitance. Arshi finally declares she no longer wants to live in the house, making her decision clear.

In the preview, Arshi confronts someone about trying to send Anirudh abroad, noting that he always refused. Now, however, Anirudh expresses a desire to leave. Arshi accuses him of not achieving what he truly wanted, and Anirudh, lost in thought, realizes that what he truly desires is Jhanak. He heads off to confess this to Arshi.
