Jhanak 18th Sept 2024 Written Episode: Anirudh’s Worry for Jhanak Deepens
The episode begins with Aditya breaking some difficult news to Anirudh about Jhanak’s health. He shares that Jhanak has a large tumor in her stomach. Aditya explains that he’s already told Anirudh everything and doesn’t want to discuss it further. When Anirudh asks if the surgery is serious, Aditya confirms it is and adds that Jhanak only wanted him to pass along the information. He also warns Anirudh not to hide it from Arshi, then ends the call.
Arshi, sensing something is wrong, asks Anirudh what the call was about. Anirudh reluctantly tells her that Aditya informed him about Jhanak’s tumor, clarifying that it’s not a pregnancy. Confused, Arshi asks why Aditya chose to call Anirudh. He then reveals that he’s planning to go to Mumbai. Arshi is upset by this and warns him, “If you leave, don’t expect me to be here when you return.” Despite her warning, Anirudh insists he has to go. Arshi, furious, yells as he walks out.
Feeling overwhelmed, Arshi calls Shrishti to talk things through. Shrishti quickly picks up on Arshi’s stress and asks what’s going on. Arshi explains that Anirudh left his phone behind and is headed to Mumbai. Shrishti advises her to stand firm and give him an ultimatum: if he goes to see Jhanak, he’ll have to face the consequences. Meanwhile, Vinayak overhears the conversation and questions Shrishti about Jhanak’s condition. Shrishti dismisses him, telling him to go to bed, and promises to handle the situation. However, Vinayak insists that Jhanak’s health is more important than any personal drama. Shrishti, frustrated, reminds him that Jhanak was once pregnant with Aditya’s child. Vinayak urges her not to jump to conclusions, but the argument escalates.
Vinayak then tries to call Anirudh, but Arshi answers instead. She vents her frustration, explaining that Anirudh has gone to Mumbai and she’s fed up with the situation. She suggests they need to make a decision about their future. Vinayak agrees but says it’s too late—they should have addressed these issues earlier. Shrishti tries to calm Arshi and invites her to come home for support. Afterward, Shrishti calls Guru ji to gather more information about Jhanak’s situation.
The following day, Aditya meets Jhanak before her surgery and wishes her good luck. Jhanak asks if he spoke to Anirudh, and Aditya confirms he did but isn’t sure if Anirudh will come. While Aditya hopes Anirudh will visit, Jhanak is convinced he won’t risk upsetting Arshi for her. Aditya recalls how shocked Anirudh was when he heard about the surgery, but he made no promises. Feeling disappointed, Jhanak tells Aditya that she no longer cares about Anirudh and regrets ever trusting him. She declares that their relationship is over.
Meanwhile, Lalon is enjoying success in his business, thanks to Appu’s hard work. Jhimli notices Appu looks exhausted, and Lalon encourages her to rest. He’s clearly appreciative, feeling lucky to have her by his side. Later, when Appu wakes up, she tells Lalon to return in the afternoon because she’ll miss him, but Lalon explains he has too much work to do.
Back at the hospital, Aditya tries to lift Jhanak’s spirits. She admits that she isn’t afraid of dying, understanding her condition is serious. She just wanted to say goodbye in case this is their last meeting. At the same time, Appu, feeling drained, steps away to freshen up. Anuradha arrives with food for both Appu and Lalon. Even though Lalon insists he’s already eaten, Anuradha lovingly feeds him anyway. Appu teases him, and Anuradha playfully reminds them that she’s also a mother figure to Appu, feeding her too.
Later, Aditya gently calls Jhanak selfish for focusing only on herself. Jhanak calmly responds that she doesn’t mind if he thinks that, explaining that she still values Anirudh despite everything. Aditya is puzzled and questions how she can care about someone who doesn’t seem to respect her. Jhanak reassures him that while she treasures their friendship, her feelings for Anirudh are personal. As they prepare to leave, Aditya tells her he’s ordered flowers for her and expresses confidence that she’ll recover and live a normal life again. His words bring a small, hopeful smile to Jhanak’s face.
