The episode begins with Meghla and her mother, Mahua, visiting a temple to offer prayers for Adrija’s birthday. Meghla prays sincerely, asking for blessings to help her sister succeed in her studies and future career.
Mahua, with a mother’s love and concern, adds that she hopes Adrija finds a loving husband and supportive family. Meghla confidently tells her that Adrija will not only find a good partner but will also have a caring family.
Mahua reflects on how she raised Adrija, acknowledging her quick temper but also her intelligence. Her thoughts then turn to Meghla, feeling concerned that while Meghla has been focused on her passion for classical music, she hasn’t taken her studies seriously. Mahua worries about Meghla’s future and how she will secure it. Together, they quietly pray for their family’s happiness and well-being.
Elsewhere, Param tells Meher that Ranbir is preparing for a trip to Darjeeling. As Meher helps him pack, she insists that he take warm clothes. Ranbir, confident he won’t need them, refuses. Dadi, however, steps in and agrees with Meher.
Param points out that the temperature in Darjeeling is just 16 degrees and suggests that Ranbir take the woolens anyway, just in case. As they talk, Harman sits nearby, clearly upset. Noticing his mood, Param asks what’s wrong, but Harman brushes him off, saying it’s nothing.
Meanwhile, Ashnoor and Aarav get into a small argument over a ball, which quickly turns into a fight. Already frustrated, Harman loses his temper and scolds them harshly. His frustration then turns to Simran, blaming her for being so caught up in work that she neglects the children. He worries that with their mother so often absent, they won’t learn proper values.
Ranbir tries to calm the situation by suggesting they can all help with the children, offering to play with them. Despite this, Harman’s frustration remains, especially as Simran is still away on a news assignment. Meher steps in, sending the children off to bathe, hoping to bring some peace to the household.
Back at home, Mahua and Meghla return from the temple and greet Adrija with birthday wishes. However, Adrija, in a bad mood, responds coldly. Meghla tells her they went to the temple to pray for her, but Adrija seems indifferent. Chandan, observing the scene, comments that it was good Meghla went to pray.
Feeling hurt by Adrija’s behavior, Meghla explains that she prayed only for Adrija’s happiness. Mahua, trying to comfort Adrija, gives her a warm hug. To lighten the mood, Meghla brings out some Rasmalai for everyone. While Chandan enjoys the treat, Adrija refuses to eat, leaving Meghla feeling discouraged.
Later, as Ranbir continues to pack, Meher fusses over his clothes, suggesting different outfits. She pleads with him to take warm clothes, more to ease her own worry than his, but Ranbir insists he’ll be fine. Trying to change the subject, Meher begins reminiscing about her childhood in Darjeeling, calling it a beautiful, heavenly place. She fondly recalls her best friend, Iravati, who used to live there.
As Meher continues, her voice becomes nostalgic. She explains how she and Iravati lost touch after a tragedy. While Meher moved to Delhi for college, Iravati’s family moved to Kolkata. Though they stayed in touch for a while—Iravi even attended Meher’s wedding—their lives drifted apart.
Dadi, curious, asks what happened to Iravati. With sadness, Meher reveals that Iravati and her family were in a tragic train accident, which took the lives of Iravati, her husband, and their child. Meher’s voice cracks as she tells the story, leaving Param shocked. He asks if they all died, and Meher nods sadly, explaining that her friends later confirmed the news.
Moved by the story, Ranbir expresses his sympathy for Meher’s loss. Trying to lift the mood, Meher encourages him to visit some of Darjeeling’s beautiful spots, like the bungalow, church, and tea gardens. Ranbir smiles and promises to explore the places she remembers fondly.
Precap: The next episode promises emotional moments and resolutions. In one tender scene, Ranbir is shown gently tying Meher’s hair, showing the strong connection between them. Meanwhile, at a hotel, Toshu and Pakhi are caught trying to leave without paying their bill. As a punishment, they are made to wash dishes, leading to an amusing but thoughtful moment.
