Do Dooni Pyaar 28th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Ganga worries about annulment

The episode begins with Ganga telling everyone that she wants to annul the marriage. She hugs Lalita, tears streaming down her face. Dadi steps in and tells Ganga to go to her room, and she quietly obeys. Lalita then questions Dadi, asking why Ganga is staying in the guest room. Dadi dismisses her concern, saying, “You already have enough to worry about, so let me handle this. This is your daughter’s home now.” Lalita nods, agreeing, “I only want my daughter to be happy here.” She then leaves.

Ritu, meanwhile, is ecstatic. She tells Akshay, “We’ve become rich!” Confused, Akshay asks what has made her so happy. Ritu responds with a smile, “A mother has found her son again.” Akshay’s expression darkens. He says, “I understand everything now, Ritu. You loved Abhay, the doctor, and married me by mistake. You lied to me.” Ritu, on the verge of tears, says, “No, that’s not true. I never met Abhay. It was you I loved from the beginning.” But Akshay stays cold. “My heart is broken,” he replies. “You only loved me because you thought I was someone else. I’ll stay in this house, but we’ll live as strangers.” He leaves, and Ritu breaks down crying.

In another part of the house, Neha speaks bitterly, “Who wants to leave their own home and raise a child in a small hut? Kalyani used to take care of Akshay when she thought I was asleep. I was afraid—if I had stayed here, I would have never gotten my own child. It wasn’t easy leaving my husband, and now Kalyani is trying to take my child away.” Dadi scolds Neha, saying, “Kalyani was kind enough to give you her child, but you misunderstood her intentions. I made my decisions thinking of everyone’s good, but you need to handle things with Kalyani carefully. I won’t return to my room until Kalyani accepts me.” Frustrated, Neha leaves, unaware that Ganga has overheard everything. Ganga, deep in thought, goes to pray.

We then see Ritu talking to Lalita on the phone. Lalita warns her, “Make sure Akshay doesn’t leave the house.” Ritu, upset, says, “Akshay is angry with me, and he left. I love him, but he’s not well-educated.” Lalita reassures her, “It doesn’t matter if he’s not educated. The important thing is that he’s wealthy. Ganga used to handle all the work here, but now it’s on me. I need you to get Ganga out of that house.” Ritu sighs and says, “Kalyani will take care of it.” Lalita advises her to manage her own home well, and they end the call.

Later, Neha goes to Chetan to apologize, but he refuses to forgive her and walks away. Akshay arrives at the scene just as Ganga appears, mentioning that the lawyer will bring the annulment papers soon. She hesitates and adds, “Should I leave this house? With Kalyani already upset, it doesn’t seem like the right time to bring this up.” She quietly leaves. Neha, still feeling guilty, apologizes to Akshay while Kalyani watches from afar. Neha says, “I used to try and stop you from coming to this city.” Akshay softens and responds, “You did what you thought was right. A mother’s love is everything, and you are my only mother.” He hugs her as Kalyani watches, tears welling in her eyes.

In the preview, Kalyani performs the aarti while everyone gathers around. Ganga sings along until she receives a call from Ritu. Ritu’s voice is stern as she asks, “Where’s my tea, Ganga? Have you forgotten your responsibilities?”
