Filming will take place in North India, with Jammu and Srinagar confirmed as the first locations. The team has chosen real locations near India’s border areas, especially around armed forces zones, to give the movie a raw and authentic feel.

“The aim is to make a high-energy, realistic war film,” shared a source close to the project. “Key action scenes and dramatic moments will be shot on real locations to make it more authentic. Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Anurag Singh are working hard to deliver a film that honors the original Border and fills audiences with pride.”

Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh are excited to start work on Border 2, which will be filmed over six months, from November 2023 to May 2024.
