Bhagya Lakshmi 23rd September 2024 Written Episode Update: Rishi and Lakshmi Have a Heated Argument

The episode starts with Malishka walking when Karishma approaches her, asking if she’s okay. Malishka reassures her that she’s fine, but Karishma, still worried, asks why Balvinder tried to harm her. Karishma insists on calling the police, but Malishka stops her, revealing that she was the one who asked Balvinder to cause the scene. Shocked, Karishma asks why she would do such a thing. Malishka explains that Rishi claimed he would do the same for anyone he cares about, so she created this situation to test his loyalty, especially in front of Lakshmi. Karishma questions Malishka’s confidence in her love for Rishi, and Malishka replies, “Where there’s love, there’s also jealousy and fear. I’ll use these emotions to make sure I win this time.” Kiran, who is listening to their conversation from outside the kitchen, starts to feel uneasy.

In another part of the house, Rishi’s children, Paru and Rohan, are pleading with their dad to get an aquarium. Rishi refuses, and they turn to their mother, Neelam, for help. Rohan tries to convince her, saying, “We’ve never had a fish before, but we can try new things! I really like the idea of having an aquarium.” Paru, missing her friend from the village, adds, “Bansi was our fish in the village pond.” Neelam and Rishi exchange puzzled looks as they wonder who Bansi is.

At that moment, Malishka arrives with medicine for Rishi and hears the conversation. The kids continue pleading with Neelam to convince Rishi, but Neelam tells them that there’s something more important at the moment. She asks Neelam about the auspicious time for the pooja, but Neelam suggests checking with the priest. Reflecting on the recent events, from the incident at the hotel to the drama at home, Neelam is clearly worried. Meanwhile, Paru and Rohan, determined, leave to do their homework. Neelam smiles, proud of how brave they were when they faced the smugglers.

Rishi notices how Neelam’s face lights up when she talks about the kids and says, “I hope you always keep smiling like this.” Malishka agrees but brings up a concern, “What if the court gives Paru to Lakshmi?” Neelam, determined, replies, “That won’t happen. Rishi, you need to talk to Lakshmi and make sure Paru stays in the Oberoi house, no matter what.” Lakshmi, who overhears this, quietly walks away.

Aayush, Aansh, and Shalu’s Dilemma

Later, Aayush drops off Aansh in his car. Aansh thanks him but senses something is wrong. He brings up Shalu, knowing that Aayush isn’t happy about his feelings for her. Aayush brushes him off, honking the horn to make him step away from the car.

Meanwhile, Shalu is at home, bringing water for Rano Chachi. Rano, suspecting something, asks Shalu what’s going on between Aayush and Aansh. Shalu tries to avoid the question, but Rano insists, believing there’s more to the story. She advises Shalu to talk to Aayush or Aansh directly to clear things up. Later, Shalu calls Aayush, who is driving and unsure of how to respond. He debates whether to share his feelings but ultimately decides not to. Shalu tries to call again, but Aayush, confused and anxious, turns off his phone, leaving Shalu worried and unsure of what’s going on.

Rishi and Lakshmi’s Growing Distance

As Lakshmi works, she recalls Neelam’s words about how Rishi should speak with her to ensure Paru stays with the Oberois. Paru and Rohan approach Lakshmi, offering to help her. Curious, Lakshmi asks what they want in return. Rohan replies, “A fish aquarium.” Lakshmi asks if they really want one, and Rohan says, “Yes, but Dad said no. Please don’t say no too!” They hug her tightly. As Rishi enters, the kids quickly run off. Rishi asks Lakshmi what’s going on with the kids, but she simply walks away to her room.

In her room, Lakshmi thinks about how distant she and Rishi have become. She remembers Dadi telling her to let Rishi get closer to her, but she can’t forget seeing Malishka taking care of him. Lakshmi steps out onto the balcony, tears welling in her eyes. Rishi enters the room and notices her crying. He softly calls her name. Lakshmi turns to face him, surprised, and asks, “What are you doing here?”

Rishi, unsure how to start, asks, “Why have you been acting so differently lately?” Lakshmi tries to brush it off, saying it’s nothing, but Rishi can tell something’s wrong. “If there’s nothing, then why do I feel like something is off? Why won’t you talk to me?” He offers to make her swear on him, but she stops him, admitting, “I just realized something important. I made a mistake.”

Confused, Rishi asks, “What mistake?” Lakshmi continues, “I shouldn’t have claimed something that wasn’t mine to begin with.” Still not understanding, Rishi presses further, asking her to explain. Lakshmi finally says, “I’ve known for a while now that you and Malishka are married. Dadi convinced me to ignore it, but today, after seeing you save her, I realized that Malishka is your real wife. I was just pretending not to see it.”

Neelam confides in Aanchal that she’s nervous about the upcoming court hearing. Rishi tells Lakshmi that the court still recognizes them as husband and wife. Meanwhile, Anoushka apologizes to Aayush for her recent behavior. Rishi and Lakshmi accidentally bump heads, and Paru teases them, saying they need to bump heads again, or else a black dog will come for them. Neelam’s lawyer warns her that if she wants to keep Paru in the Oberoi family, she’ll have to live with Lakshmi. Neelam looks worried as she contemplates her next move.
