Scene: Shah Household – Bedroom (Night)

Anupama is folding clothes with a worried look. Vanraj walks in, humming a cheerful tune, not noticing her concern.

Vanraj: “Everything okay, Anu? Are you still tired from the party?”

Anupama: (Setting down a shirt) “Not really. I’ve been thinking.”

Vanraj: (Moving closer) “Thinking about what? Planning a shopping spree with your bonus?”

He tries to make light of the situation, but Anupama doesn’t smile.

Anupama: “We need to talk about the money.”

Vanraj: (Looking cautious) “Talk? About what?”

Anupama: (Sitting down) “You’ve been spending more on work expenses than you said, and there was that phone call…”

Vanraj: (Interrupting) “What call? Just a colleague called to congratulate me. It’s nothing.”

Anupama: (Looking directly at him) “Was it Kavya?”

Vanraj stops, his smile fading. Anupama’s tone is firm but gentle.

Anupama: “Vanraj, whatever’s going on, we need to be honest with each other. We can handle anything if we’re truthful.”

Vanraj looks away, clearly struggling. The scene ends with a heavy silence, leaving the audience to wonder if Vanraj will tell the truth or keep hiding things.
