Anupama Written Episode 15th September 2024

Anupama

Anupama – September 15, 2024: A New Chapter Begins for Mahi at Asha Bhavan

The episode begins with Pari informing Anupama that the Visarjan (idol immersion) is over, and their father has decided that they won’t be visiting anymore. Mahi, feeling downcast, confides in Anupama that while Lord Ganesha has returned to his divine abode, she finds herself without a place to call home. She reveals that her parents abandoned her, and now Toshu is angry and threatening to send her away. Mahi fears that someone will take advantage of her vulnerability. Anupama comforts her, while Kinjal reassures Mahi that Toshu’s anger will pass and emphasizes that she is welcome here. Despite their reassurances, Toshu coldly insists that Mahi should be sent to an orphanage.

Anupama is taken aback by Toshu’s harshness. Babuji intervenes, reminding Toshu that Mahi is his sister. Toshu angrily retorts that Mahi is not his sibling but Kavya’s daughter, a burden he doesn’t want. Anupama confronts Toshu, but he dismisses her, saying she has no authority over him since their relationship is severed.

Refusing to let Mahi go to a hostel or orphanage, Anupama steps up and offers to raise Mahi as her own daughter. She asks Mahi if she wants to stay with her, Badi Mummy (Anupama), and her sister Aadhya. Anupama reassures Mahi that she is not alone and that they are her new family. Toshu scoffs, stating that Asha Bhavan is at risk of being seized by the tax authorities and mocks Anupama for wanting to take on the responsibility of Kavya’s child. He tells her to proceed but makes it clear that he does not want Mahi back.

Baa questions how Anupama plans to handle this situation. Anupama confidently asserts that Asha Behen established Asha Bhavan so no one would feel abandoned. Dimpy expresses concerns about potential disagreements, but the residents of Asha Bhavan rally around Mahi, sharing their own struggles and welcoming her as one of their own. Pari inquires if she can still visit Mahi, and Anupama assures her that visits are welcome. Mahi is thrilled to be part of the family and eagerly tells Aadhya she’ll be staying with them, and Aadhya is excited about having a younger sister. Anuj pledges to raise Mahi as their own child, and Kinjal reflects on how, despite the quarrels among blood relatives, the residents of Asha Bhavan show remarkable love and support for each other.

Later, a welcome party is thrown for Mahi. She is puzzled by the celebration, and Anupama explains that she is the guest of honor. Bala adds that such parties are a tradition for new members, though they couldn’t celebrate earlier for Anuj or Aadhya due to illness. Now, they are ready to honor Mahi. Aadhya presents Mahi with a magic wand, telling her she can decide who does what. Mahi, delighted by the attention, asks if she’s really the VIP, to which Anuj confirms she’s actually the VVIP. Anupama reminds Mahi that she’s the star of her own story, and Mahi excitedly tells Anuj to start dancing.

Outside, Ansh, Pari, and Ishu observe the festivities from a distance. Inside, Anuj joyfully dances to “Aankhiyon Se Goli Maare,” and the children eventually join the celebration. Kinjal shares with Baa that while Asha Bhavan may not have much, the happiness of its people contrasts sharply with the emptiness in their own home, despite its material wealth. She expresses her desire to leave Toshu after witnessing his behavior. Titu concurs, stating he no longer wishes to stay with Dimpy. Baa grows anxious about these developments. Meanwhile, Bala Kaka joins Anuj in dancing with a dupatta, adding to the fun.

Later, Kinjal finds Toshu asleep and is overwhelmed with sorrow about their strained relationship. Titu, feeling similarly, is upset as he sees Dimpy sleeping and feels dejected. Meanwhile, Anuj and Anupama share a tender moment, reminiscing about their earlier times together.

The following morning, Babuji inquires about Mahi’s sleep, and Anupama confirms she rested well. Babuji notes that Mahi misses Kavya and suggests regular video calls to keep her connected with her mother. Anupama reveals she has tried reaching Kavya without success and feels disheartened by the shift in Kavya’s dedication. Babuji speculates that Kavya might be working hard for Mahi’s future. Anupama reflects on how greed can cause problems, and Babuji reminds her of the betrayals Anuj has faced. Despite the challenges, Anupama remains hopeful, noting that their stall is thriving, and she is confident they will manage the tax payments and other expenses, including Aadhya’s schooling and Mahi’s needs. She believes Anuj will soon find employment.

In another part of the house, Dimpy finds Titu packing his bags and insists he can’t leave until she gets her share of the property. She unpacks his bags, determined to prevent him from leaving.

Later, Anuj reads a newspaper article falsely accusing him of fraud in his own company. Enraged, he throws the paper. Anupama tries to calm him, reminding him to have faith and that things will improve. She shares her own experiences of facing conspiracies and reassures him that Ankush and Barkha’s deceit will be uncovered. Encouraging him, she advises him to stay positive and repeat, “I can and I will.” Anuj repeats the phrase with renewed determination.

Ansh requests pizza from Kinjal, but Toshu snaps at him to eat what’s already available. Dimpy reprimands Toshu for his harshness, leading to a heated argument and broken dishes. Baa tries to intervene, but Dimpy brings up her claim to the house, and Toshu counters by demanding that she start contributing to expenses. Meenu quietly cleans up the broken dishes, while Dolly gently questions her actions.

In a final tender moment, Anupama lovingly serves Anuj breakfast, and he starts hiccuping. Anupama smiles and playfully tells him he’s handsome, pointing to the coffee as a joke. Anuj’s hiccups subside, and he enjoys the meal Anupama prepared with care. They share a warm, nostalgic moment, recalling Anuj’s earlier proposal.
