Anupama 4th September 2024 Written Episode
The episode opens with Anupama having a heartfelt conversation with Babu ji, urging him to reflect on her words. She mentions that she has already spoken to Baa about the matter. Indra chimes in, suggesting that if they can all be together, there’s no reason to stay apart. Bala agrees, noting that it’s more fulfilling to experience love up close rather than from a distance. Sagar adds that just as Anuj and Anupama reunited on Janmasthami, it’s now time for Baa and Babu ji to come together. Anupama lights a diya in front of God, expressing her gratitude for the positive changes and her joy in having Aadhya and Anuj with her. She prays for Baa and Babu ji’s reconciliation, singing a bhajan and performing aarti with Anuj and Aadhya.
Kinjal speaks to Baa, affirming that Anupama’s perspective is valid. Titu, Toshu, Meenu, and others also try to persuade Baa, but she walks away, leaving everyone hopeful for a reunion. Pakhi suggests that Baa should meet Babu ji, but Meenu and Titu should avoid visiting Asha Bhavan.
Anupama then insists on visiting Megha. Aadhya, anxious, pleads with her not to go, but Anupama remains firm. Anuj proposes that they both accompany her as her support. Meanwhile, Ansh asks Toshu about Dadu’s arrival, mentioning that Pari, Mahi, and Ishu are causing trouble. Baa, worried, inquires about Vanraj’s arrival. Toshu reassures her that Vanraj could arrive at any moment and then announces that Vanraj Shah has indeed returned. Suddenly, two men with guards arrive, demanding to see Vanraj Shah. When Toshu questions them, the men brandish guns, accusing Vanraj of defrauding them of money for a project and then vanishing. They claim Vanraj has cheated numerous people. Everyone is stunned, and attempts are made to reason with the men. Toshu promises that Vanraj will repay the money once he returns. The men, however, throw out their belongings and threaten further violence if Vanraj isn’t contacted. Baa defends Vanraj, calling him a “tiger” who will handle the situation. Kinjal tries to calm Baa down. The men reveal that Vanraj is involved in a massive fraud. Pakhi and Toshu recall Vanraj’s comments about living life on his own terms, realizing that he’s a master of deceit.
Anuj and Anupama visit Viren and Megha’s house. Viren, visibly anxious, pleads with them not to involve the police. Anuj reassures him that if they had intended to call the police, Megha would already be in trouble. Anupama explains that, as a mother, she simply wants to speak to Megha. Viren reveals Megha’s guilt over Priya’s disappearance, explaining how Megha mistook Aadhya for Priya due to her resemblance and brought her to Ahmedabad. Megha became obsessed with Aadhya, trying to mold her into Priya and keeping her under constant watch. Anupama understands that Megha’s affection had transformed into stubbornness and expresses sympathy for her situation. She suspects Megha is hiding in Priya’s room.
Back at home, Baa asks someone to call Vanraj. Titu tries but finds his phone unreachable. Dimpy advises Baa to remain calm to avoid health issues. Toshu, anxious, also tries calling Vanraj. At Megha’s house, Anupama enters Priya’s room and urges Megha to come out of hiding, emphasizing that it’s time to face the truth. Megha accuses Anupama of taking Priya from her and ruining her life. Viren worries about Megha’s safety, but Anuj reassures him. Megha, overwhelmed, pleads with Anupama to leave, threatening self-harm if she doesn’t. She breaks down, clinging to Anupama and crying, asking for Priya. Anupama gently explains that Aadhya is her daughter now, not Priya. Megha refuses to accept this, insisting that Aadhya is her Priya. Anupama firmly reiterates that Aadhya is her daughter, not Priya.
Anupama’s honest words force Megha to confront the reality that her love for Priya had become selfish. Sharing her own experience of losing a child, Anupama explains that it’s wrong to impose one’s will on another’s child and that Aadhya had never been content in their home. Megha finally admits that Aadhya wasn’t happy. Anupama tells Megha that her actions were driven not by genuine maternal love but by greed and selfishness. She criticizes Megha for halting her search for Priya, choosing instead to keep a lookalike.
In the end, Anupama’s candid and harsh truths help Megha recognize her mistakes.
