Anupama 4th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Aadhya refuses to apologize to Dimpy
The episode begins with Anupama discovering her locket is broken, and to her dismay, Anuj’s locket is also damaged. This leaves her worried, recalling Baa’s earlier words. Anupama takes a moment, then reassures Anuj, “It’s just a locket; it can be fixed. The important thing is that nothing happened to you.” She prays to Kanha Ji for blessings. When they return home, Anupama gathers everyone. Anuj shares exciting news: the promoters love “Anu ki Rasoi” so much that they’re planning to discuss it with investors. If they agree, it could become a brand with branches across the country. Everyone cheers with excitement, while Bala Kaka plans to inform Babu Ji.
During all the excitement, Aadhya accidentally falls onto Dimpy, who scolds her. Aadhya apologizes and steps away, but Dimpy complains, suspecting others are trying to mess with her on purpose. Toshu smiles to himself, and Dimpy, noticing, questions if he’s playing games with them. Toshu shrugs it off, implying there’s nothing to gain. Dolly warns Toshu about his behavior, but Pakhi stands by him, insisting they can trust him. Toshu, on the other hand, thinks about how they will never discover what he is planning.
Later, Aadhya suggests they play garba since Baa loves it so much. Anupama, however, is unsure if Baa would want to participate since Babu Ji is not around. With some convincing from everyone, Anupama agrees they will play garba in the evening. Meanwhile, Toshu has a secret phone call discussing his “5 percent share,” and Pakhi overhears. Toshu lies smoothly, saying he was discussing investments for his business. He assures Pakhi she is his only sister and he would never lie to her. She believes him, and wishes for good fortune to continue in their family.
In another part of the house, Bala is practicing garba, and Indra can’t help but laugh at his awkward attempts. She offers to help teach him, and soon they are practicing together. Watching them, Meenu turns to Sagar and asks if something romantic might be happening between Bala and Indra. Sagar agrees, pointing out Bala’s obvious affection. Meenu is delighted, saying this place feels almost magical. She also hopes that Nandita finds someone special and wishes happiness for everyone. Sagar reassures her that things will work out for the best.
Later, Baa requests either Dimpy or Dolly to be her partner for garba, but both refuse. Baa jokes that anyone who refuses to play garba can’t be a real Gujarati. Eventually, everyone gathers for the dance. Aadhya and Dimpy notice that they are wearing identical outfits, which quickly leads to an argument. Kinjal steps in, asking them to keep their tempers in check and warning that holding grudges could lead to serious consequences in the future.
Anuj and Anupama prepare for the garba, and Anuj notices the lights flickering. Just then, Anupama walks in, and Anuj lovingly puts the repaired chain and pendant back on her. Anupama does the same for him. They reminisce about past garba nights, and Anuj playfully asks for a reward for getting the locket fixed. He jokes about staring at her until she blushes, and they both share a light-hearted moment. Aadhya calls them to join the group, and Anuj says, “I love you, Anu,” to which Anupama responds with “Ditto.” As they join the others, everyone compliments their radiant look. Bala teases them about blushing, and Anuj calls it “a special glow.” They then begin dancing, with Aadhya and Dimpy also pairing up. During the dance, Dimpy gets hurt by Aadhya’s dandiya stick and shouts at her.
Baa immediately blames Aadhya, but Aadhya defends herself, saying Dimpy had been purposely hitting Nandita multiple times, and questions why no one seems to care about that. She then reveals that Dimpy has been hitting Ansh regularly, which shocks everyone. Dimpy and Dolly retaliate by calling Aadhya a spoiled brat, and Pakhi demands Anupama make her daughter apologize. Anupama tells Aadhya to apologize, but Aadhya insists Dimpy should apologize to Nandita first. Anuj also tries to convince Aadhya to listen to her mother and say sorry, hoping to end the dispute. However, Aadhya refuses and leaves the scene. Baa remarks how, once again, a celebration has ended on a sour note.
Sagar and Meenu go to comfort Aadhya, who feels upset about being scolded unfairly. She vents her frustration, feeling like she always gets blamed even when she is not at fault. She also shares her disappointment, feeling that Anupama and Anuj favor their biological children over her. Meenu tries to reassure her, but Aadhya argues that Anupama prioritizes her own children, and Anuj’s first priority is always Anupama. Anupama overhears the conversation, and Sagar quietly gestures for Meenu to leave with him.
In the preview, Anuj reassures Anupama that their bond is still strong, and asks how the preparations for their union or marriage are going. Meanwhile, the children are seen playing near a burning havan kund. Anupama says that the mandap and the havan kund are all set. Anuj remarks with hope that everything will finally be perfect. However, a piece of burning wood falls onto the fabric, and soon the entire mandap catches fire. Anupama and Aadhya rush back after hearing the children’s frightened screams.
