Anupama 30th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Anuj and Anupama are elated

The episode begins with Pandit Ji complimenting Anupama and Anuj, saying they look like Radha and Krishna, and wishing for their relationship to be always blessed by Kanha Ji. Anupama thanks him. The priest mentions that the garlands they are given are special, taken from Kanha’s idol, and that he felt a sudden urge to gift them to Anupama and Anuj without really knowing why. He tells them to keep the garlands as they symbolize a deeper bond. Anupama agrees, saying they will cherish it as a blessing from God. Anuj suggests they exchange the garlands but admits that they can’t do it in front of everyone just yet. He puts the garland around Anupama’s neck and waits for her to do the same for him. Anupama hesitates, but with Anuj gently guiding her, she eventually does.

Meanwhile, Dimpy notices Ansh eating a lot of chocolates and warns him about getting cavities. Ansh replies that she could be nicer about it. Dimpy wonders who has been teaching him to talk back—maybe Aadhya or their grandmother. Ansh stands up for them, telling Dimpy not to speak badly about his aunt or grandmother. Annoyed, Dimpy threatens to lock him in his room, but Aadhya comes in and tells her to leave Ansh alone. Dimpy scolds Aadhya, but Aadhya ignores her, taking Ansh’s hand and running out with him. As they leave, Dimpy shouts that they will have to return eventually. Outside, Aadhya reassures Ansh, telling him to come to her if his mother scolds him again. Ansh smiles and says, “I love you, Auntie,” and Aadhya replies, “I love you too.”

Later, Anuj tells Anupama that he wants to do something meaningful. He gestures toward filling her “maang” (the parting of her hair, symbolizing marriage). Anupama quickly asks him not to do it, but Anuj insists, saying they are already halfway to being married, with only one step left. Anupama feels conflicted and silently prays to Kanha Ji for guidance.

Kinjal arrives home and thanks her friend Shekhar for dropping her off. After Shekhar leaves, Toshu comments on how happy she seems. Kinjal explains that Shekhar is just a friend who also helped her get a job at his company. Toshu becomes jealous, suggesting that Shekhar took her out for coffee and insinuating that there might be more to it. Kinjal tries to avoid a fight as their daughter Pari comes over, and Toshu sends Pari inside. Kinjal firmly tells Toshu that she’s not a fraud or a cheat and says she doesn’t care what he thinks, but she does care about what Pari thinks. Toshu sarcastically tells her to go be with her friend, saying that Pari will stay with him. Kinjal retorts that she lives in her mother’s house now, not his father’s, and says that if her mother allows it, she’ll take Pari with her. She walks inside, leaving Pari looking sad after overhearing their argument.

Inside, Kinjal finds comfort in Anupama’s embrace. She hands Anupama her advance salary, but Anupama initially refuses. Kinjal insists, reminding her that she is her daughter, and Anupama eventually takes half, asking Kinjal to keep the rest. Anupama then asks why Kinjal is still with Toshu when their relationship seems broken. She reassures Kinjal that if she wants to move on, she will support her. Kinjal explains that she is staying with Toshu, not because she hopes he will change, but for their daughter Pari’s sake. She says Pari is too young to handle a separation or court battle, and Kinjal feels she must prioritize her daughter over herself. Anupama praises Kinjal for her maturity and strength, noting that despite being raised in a privileged home, she has no sense of entitlement, unlike Toshu and Pakhi. She reassures Kinjal that she will support her in whatever she decides.

Later that night, the children say they want to sleep in Aadhya’s room and ask her to tell them a bedtime story. Anuj joins them and tells Sagar and Meenu to stay and listen. However, Anupama tells everyone it’s time to sleep. The children then ask Anupama to sing them a lullaby. Anupama agrees and sings for them, making the kids feel loved. Meanwhile, Pakhi and Dimpy watch from a distance, looking upset. Pakhi complains that her mother is taking their children away from them. Dimpy agrees, accusing Anupama of trying to control everything. She bitterly wishes for Anupama to lose all her happiness.

The next morning, Anupama prays for everyone’s well-being. Suddenly, Anuj appears and expresses his longing for her, singing and dancing to the song “Main Yahan Hoon.” Anupama realizes it is just her imagination and blushes, feeling shy for imagining Anuj everywhere. She snaps back to reality when she receives a message on her phone. At that moment, Sagar hands her the newspaper. As she flips through it, she notices a marriage ad and overhears Bala and Nandita chatting nearby. She then sees Anuj, thinking it’s just another figment of her imagination, but he smiles and teases her, asking if she’s seen a handsome man around. Anupama tells him she received a message about a job offer and congratulates him on getting the opportunity. Anuj thanks her and mentions that they wouldn’t have gotten the chance if it wasn’t for her conversation with Mr. Mehta. He playfully asks her to agree to marry him, adding, “At least say yes for #Maan.”

In the upcoming scene, Dimpy raises her hand to slap Aadhya, but Anuj grabs her hand in time, demanding to know how she dared try to hit Aadhya. He asserts that neither he nor Anupama has ever raised their hands on her. Aadhya hugs Anuj tightly. Later, Anuj is seen arriving at a certain place, where Anupama gets down on one knee and proposes to him, asking him to marry her.
