Anupama 2nd October 2024 Written Episode Update: Anupama and Anuj stay firm on their decision

The episode starts with a heated argument between Dimpy, Pakhi, and Anupama. Dolly makes a sarcastic remark about Anupama and Anuj being romantic at their age. Aadhya steps in, trying to calm Dimpy, while Paritosh mocks their love, dismissing it as a joke. Anupama, however, stands firm and tells Paritosh that his problem is jealousy—he can’t stand seeing true love because his own life lacks it. She makes it clear that she doesn’t care about his opinion. Anuj agrees, and Anupama confidently announces that their wedding will happen. She turns to Dolly, pointing out that there’s no age limit for love, especially when there isn’t one for hatred. Anuj adds that love makes life meaningful, and both proudly affirm their relationship.

Dolly, still skeptical, reminds Anupama that her first marriage didn’t work out, and bitterly comments that Anupama had distanced her from her own daughter, wishing she would face the same pain. Aadhya speaks up, telling Dolly not to curse Anupama. Leela then asks why Anupama initially hesitated to marry. Anupama admits that fear had held her back—fear of not being good enough in this relationship. But love won, giving her courage, and now she is unafraid of anything, even fate. She firmly says the wedding will happen at Aasha Bhawan. Anuj warmly welcomes everyone to attend and jokes that a smaller crowd will make the event more intimate. He starts singing as Kinjal shares her excitement about attending the wedding.

Later, Dolly complains that Anupama ruined her daughter’s marriage and still wants to marry herself. Aadhya then takes Anuj and Anupama to their room and puts a black dot on them to ward off evil. She tells them they will soon be a true family and promises they will always stay together. Anupama agrees, saying they’ll work hard and stay happy. Anuj jokes that they shouldn’t mention having boyfriends, and tells Aadhya he’ll find someone just like him for her. Anupama laughs, saying no one could ever be like Anuj. They share a warm hug, and Aadhya suggests taking a selfie to capture the moment. Anuj clicks the picture, and Aadhya insists it should be their phone wallpaper. Anupama decides to call Hasmukh to share the good news, and Anuj encourages her to go. After she leaves, Aadhya dances with Anuj, excited for the wedding to happen quickly. Anuj reminds her they still need to pick an auspicious date.

Pakhi interrupts them, saying the wedding won’t happen. She criticizes Anupama for always focusing on the Shah family and Aasha Bhawan, making Anuj and Aadhya feel neglected. Anuj, annoyed, tells her to stop. Pakhi warns Aadhya that her dream of a perfect family will never come true. Anuj sternly tells Pakhi to leave, comforting Aadhya and assuring her that Pakhi’s words come from jealousy.

The next morning, Anuj and Aadhya work on their wedding invitations. Pakhi and Paritosh approach, planning to ruin their work. Paritosh throws water on the invite and pretends it was an accident. Anuj responds that if he slapped them accidentally, he could apologize the same way. When Paritosh says they just wanted to see the invitations, Anuj reveals that they had expected their interference. The invitation they ruined was a fake, and the real ones were already prepared. He warns them that next time the consequences will be more severe but still invites them to the wedding. Pakhi and Paritosh leave, clearly frustrated.

Later, Bala tells everyone to get ready for the wedding. Anupama seems worried, and Indira tries to comfort her, telling her not to think about Pakhi and Paritosh. Bala agrees, reminding her that those two are always negative. Anupama acknowledges this but admits that happiness often comes with fear, especially given her past. Despite her concerns, she trusts Anuj and their love, though the pain of their past separation lingers. Nandita encourages her to stay positive, reminding her that today is the first day of Navratri. Sagar adds, “Think positively, and good things will happen.” Though she still has some fears, the support of her loved ones lifts her spirits.

Meanwhile, Aadhya is practicing a special dance with some kids. Ansh, one of the boys, hugs her, excited to be part of the performance. The girls argue about dance roles, and Aadhya suggests that Ansh should perform with everyone. From a distance, Dolly, Dimple, and Pakhi complain. Dolly tells Dimple to keep an eye on Ansh, saying that while they can manage Ishani, Ansh doesn’t even listen to Titu.

As the family gathers for the aarti, Anuj and Anupama place the invitation card on the altar. Aadhya prays earnestly, but suddenly, the card catches fire. In a panic, Aadhya tries to save it, burning her hand. Anupama and Anuj rush to stop her, insisting the card isn’t worth her safety. But Aadhya is determined, saying she won’t let anything ruin their marriage. Indira reassures everyone that everything will be fine, but Leela calls it a bad omen, urging Anupama to reconsider. Anuj, however, is resolute, and Bala tells Rajpal to leave when he arrives demanding unpaid taxes. Rajpal threatens them, but Bala dismisses him, vowing to fix the issue soon. Unknown to them, Paritosh overhears this conversation, smiling slyly.

Leela, looking at the Shah house from a distance, is overcome with sadness. She longs to return and laments that it’s the first time the family has been away from their ancestral home. Dolly wonders how much longer they will have to endure this and urges them to take action. Later, Anupama accidentally bumps into Anuj and quickly apologizes. Anuj playfully tells her there’s no need for apologies—only gratitude. He then flirts, calling it love. Anupama playfully denies it, teasing him about his lack of romance. Anuj pretends to be offended and tells her to take the lead if she wants more romance. They share a tender moment, and Anuj reassures her that the tax issue will be handled, urging her not to worry. Anupama smiles, grateful for his constant support.
