Anupama 26th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Anupama declares her decision
The episode begins with Anupama opening up to Anuj about their relationship. She acknowledges how he waited for her for 26 years and loved her deeply, more than she could ever imagine. However, she admits that once they finally got together, the everyday struggles, arguments, and pain started to overshadow all those years of love. She tells him that maybe he rushed into wanting to marry her after holding onto that love for so long, and now it feels like a broken glass—trying to fix it might only cause more harm. Anupama suggests that perhaps it’s better not to force their relationship into something it’s not. She confesses that she loves him, but she can’t bear to hurt him or Aadhya. She also admits she’s afraid—of marriage, of herself, and of the possibility of seeing disappointment in Aadhya’s eyes. Through tears, she apologizes.
Anuj, equally emotional, apologizes too. He explains that he didn’t mean to pressure her and was only speaking because she asked him to share his feelings. He reminds her that while she has the right to say no to marriage, he has the right to wait for her—even if it takes seven lifetimes. He sees his patience and love as a blessing from Kanha ji and promises not to stop waiting. Whether she chooses to be with him or not, he will always be ready with open arms. He jokes that even if they don’t marry, they can stay together as boyfriend and girlfriend, making the world jealous. Anupama is touched by his words and hugs him, surprised by his playful approach. Anuj reminds her of the drama unfolding outside and gently urges her to return.
Meanwhile, Sagar is filled with regret for not being honest with Anupama about his relationship with Meenu. When Anupama finds him, he immediately apologizes. She asks him to swear on her head that he will always make Meenu happy, respect her family, and work on improving himself for her. Sagar, deeply moved, promises to do everything Anupama asks. He pledges not only his love but also his commitment to becoming worthy of Meenu. Anupama advises him to focus on his career first and suggests that they should wait before taking any big steps. Sagar, grateful for her support, touches her feet. She reassures him that she will stand by them as long as they are doing things the right way. Bala, Nandita, and Indra also voice their support for her decision. Sagar, however, is still worried about Meenu’s family, to which Anupama wisely says that while love is important, they shouldn’t fight against family. Sagar hugs her, and she tells him they will face whatever comes together.
The next morning, the house wakes up to the sound of wedding music. Anupama arrives with Sagar and Meenu, leaving everyone confused. Dolly asks what’s going on. Anupama explains that after all the chaos, arguments, and tears from the day before, one issue still remains—the theft. She reveals that while someone was wrongly accused, the real thief hasn’t been caught. Baa asks anxiously who tried to steal her jewelry. Anupama shocks everyone by accusing Toshu. He immediately denies it and demands proof. Anupama calmly says that if she had solid evidence, Toshu would already be in jail. She explains that while Sagar and Meenu went to get a pillow and cough syrup, Toshu was up to something else—he wasn’t looking for a mosquito bat as he claimed, but trying to steal.
In the preview, Anupama is seen reading a contract, looking at Anuj with emotion as music plays in the background. At the same time, the family frantically searches for Meenu. Dolly urges Anupama to explain, but before she can say anything, Sagar and Meenu walk in, wearing garlands. Their sudden appearance leaves everyone in shock.
