Anupama 22nd October 2024 Written Episode Update: Anupama meets Aadhya

The episode begins with Anupama and Prem visiting Shishu Chaaya Ashram. Bubbly is surprised to see Prem and addresses him with a playful tone. He jokes back, calling her “Bubblechand,” and she laughs, telling him he can even call her “Bubblegum.” The children warmly refer to him as “Laddoo Bhaiyya.” As they exchange greetings, Vyas welcomes Anupama and asks what brings them there. Prem explains that they’ve brought some toys for the kids. Meanwhile, Aadhya feels uneasy when she spots a group of Gagwani men near the orphanage and quietly pulls the curtain to block the view. Vyas comments that they were supposed to leave last night, and Anupama agrees. Suddenly, she hears a baby crying and children singing a lullaby, bringing back memories of her singing the same song for Aadhya. She immediately asks about Rahi, and Vyas tells her that Rahi is inside. However, when Anupama goes to look for her, Bubbly informs her that Rahi has likely taken a shortcut and gone out. This makes Anupama concerned, and Prem asks Bubbly to try and locate Rahi.

Meanwhile, Janki informs Prem that some food orders were returned, and several people fell sick after eating it. Another woman suggests informing Anupama, but Toshu, irritated, brushes them off, saying he’ll handle it. His rude behavior offends the women, and they walk away, leaving the work unfinished.

Anupama eventually finds Aadhya and lovingly calls her by her childhood nickname, “Bebli.” Overwhelmed with emotion, she hugs Aadhya, expressing how much she missed her. Anupama is overjoyed, calling this moment the end of her suffering, comparing it to Diwali because she’s finally reunited with her daughter. But instead of warmth, Aadhya reacts coldly, pushing Anupama away. As Anupama falls, Prem watches the scene unfold in concern.

At home, Pakhi is worried about Ishu, whose phone is unreachable. Baa suggests calling the event organizers, but Pakhi doesn’t have their contact information. Toshu soon enters with a complaint notice and blames Janki for inciting the workers. Baa reflects on how smoothly things ran when Anupama was in charge and asks if the problem could be linked to Toshu’s decision to buy discounted spices. Pakhi suspects that this could be the cause. When Baa questions whether the same food was sent to Sanghu Bhai’s daughter’s engagement, Toshu is stunned and sits in silence.

Back at the Ashram, Anupama tearfully asks Aadhya why she left her and changed her name and identity. Aadhya coldly tells Anupama to stay away, addressing her as “Anupama ji,” a formal and distant way to speak to her own mother. Despite Anupama’s emotional pleas, Aadhya insists that Anupama is dead to her and symbolically performs a ritual as if mourning the death of their relationship. Heartbroken, Anupama begs her to come home, but Aadhya refuses, firmly stating that she no longer has any connection to her and intends to remain at the orphanage.

Meanwhile, Vyas talks to Bubbly, asking if Rahi had mentioned anything to her, but Bubbly says no. At this moment, Gagwani arrives with his men, demanding that they vacate the Ashram. Vyas argues that their agreement still has five years left, but Gagwani reveals that he has altered the contract and orders them to leave.

Elsewhere, Toshu comes up with a plan to sell the leftover food to different shops, but Baa and Dolly confront him for being disrespectful to the women. Toshu arrogantly dismisses their concerns, reminding them of his MBA degree.

Later, Prem confronts Aadhya about performing a ritual for her mother as if she were dead. Aadhya, angry, tells him to stay out of it, insisting that her mother is not as kind as people believe. Anupama overhears this and, with tears in her eyes, asks Aadhya what she has done to deserve such hatred. Aadhya reveals that she left home because of Anupama and blames her for her father’s death.
