Anupama 20th September 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Anupama thinking about Pakhi’s rude comment about staying at a friend’s house. Pakhi had thanked her, but the way she said it showed there was tension between them. Feeling nervous, Pakhi asks her brother, Toshu, if something bad is going to happen. Toshu, clearly annoyed, replies that it feels like everyone is out to get them.

Pakhi complains about their situation, saying their clothes are wet, and they’re being bitten by mosquitoes. She’s upset that Anupama didn’t give them enough time to grab their things. Toshu tries to calm her down, telling her he found their dad’s credit card while looking for some papers. Excited, Pakhi suggests they go shopping, knowing their dad will pay for it. Toshu jokes that they’ll end up spending a huge amount and plan to stay in a luxury hotel.

Meanwhile, at Asha Bhavan, Anupama starts the day by handing out toothbrushes and waking everyone up. She hugs Baa to make her feel better, while Kinjal goes to the kitchen to make tea. Dolly, Dimpy, and the others wait their turn to use the bathroom as the song “Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zarurat Hai” plays softly in the background.

Kinjal serves tea and makes breakfast while outside, Aadhya playfully splashes water on the children, making everyone smile. Soon after, Anuj asks Baa and Babuji to lead the morning prayer, which they do with sincerity.

Later, Anupama sees Anuj struggling to find a job as he makes phone calls without much luck. The song “Mere Paas Hai Tu” plays as Anuj writes a note on a paper resting on Anupama’s back. Finally, his efforts pay off when a former business rival offers him a job. Anupama, sensing his frustration, asks if he’s upset. Anuj admits he has a lot of responsibilities, and ignoring them won’t help.

He mentions their duty to Mahi, saying he still needs to win her over. Anupama smiles and reassures him that he already has. After a light-hearted exchange, they focus on delivering pickles and papads to a nearby hotel. Anuj, determined to get back on his feet, promises that soon Anupama won’t have to deal with small tasks anymore.

Back at Asha Bhavan, Baa notices Dolly and Dimpy struggling with a tarpaulin. She offers one of her bangles to Bala, telling him to sell it if they ever need money for food. Bala assures her that they’re not in a bad spot yet but agrees to keep it just in case. Meanwhile, Dimpy and Dolly grumble about the work they’ve been given. Dimpy, thinking about Titu’s house, says she won’t leave until she gets her fair share.

Kinjal advises her to enjoy the comforts she has for now, but Dimpy refuses, determined to get what she believes is hers. Dolly, also upset, reveals she’s staying to claim her share too and plans to return to the US with her daughter once everything is settled.

Over at the hotel, Pakhi and Toshu are enjoying luxury living, eating a fancy meal. Pakhi takes selfies to post on social media, hoping to make her followers jealous. Meanwhile, Aadhya, scrolling through her phone, shows the pictures to Kinjal. Kinjal shakes her head, disappointed by their careless behavior, knowing that the credit card they’re using has limits. She warns Aadhya not to tell Anupama yet.

Back at Asha Bhavan, Baa asks Dolly and Dimpy to help chop onions for their tiffin service. Even though they don’t want to, they agree, but soon the strong smell makes their eyes water. Anupama steps in and hands them helmets to protect their eyes. Baa comments wisely that people who want to work will always find a way, while those who don’t will just make excuses.

Suddenly, Nandita slips, but Titu catches her before she falls. Grateful, she thanks him, but Dimpy, overcome with jealousy, slaps Nandita. Shocked, Titu tries to understand what’s going on. Anupama steps in, asking for an explanation.

Dimpy accuses Nandita of trying to steal Titu away and blames Anupama for being too focused on her relationship with Anuj to notice. She accuses Anupama of breaking up families, starting with Baa and Babuji, then Kinjal and Toshu, and now Titu and her. Dimpy also insults Nandita, saying she uses rich men for money, which is why her husband left her.

Angry, Anupama slaps Dimpy and warns her not to make false accusations. She defends Nandita and Tapish, saying they would never do such things. She demands Dimpy apologize, but Dimpy refuses. Tapish steps in and apologizes on behalf of Dimpy. Nandita, though upset, reassures everyone that she would never break up a family. Anupama hugs her and offers comfort.

Still angry, Dimpy lashes out again, accusing Anupama of caring more for her adopted daughter than her real children. She also suggests that Anupama values the people at Asha Bhavan more than her own family. She warns the residents that one day Anupama will betray them just as she has her family.

At the hotel, after their meal, Toshu and Pakhi prepare to go shopping. But before they can leave, the hotel manager approaches them, asking for the bill. Toshu and Pakhi try to complain about the service to avoid paying, but the manager insists. Left with no choice, Toshu agrees to pay.

Back at Asha Bhavan, Nandita is still hurt by Dimpy’s harsh words. Anupama comforts her, encouraging her to stay strong and not let Dimpy’s cruel remarks bring her down.

In the precap, Anuj is seen lovingly tying Anupama’s hair. Meanwhile, Toshu and Pakhi try to sneak out of the hotel without paying but get caught and are forced to wash dishes as punishment. The hotel manager thanks Anupama for informing him. Pakhi, angry, accuses Anupama of betraying them, while Toshu demands to know if she really had them caught.
