Anupama 19th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Anupama and Aadhya hit and miss
The episode opens with Aadhya, also known as Rahi, in hot pursuit of a thief. In a burst of determination, she grabs a clay pot and throws it at him, demanding to know how he can shamelessly steal from others. The thief retorts that she deceives people too, to which Aadhya explains that her actions are always for her children’s sake. She insists on checking for any identification or distinguishing features on him. Just then, the police arrive, causing Aadhya to panic. She quickly accuses the thief of running off with a woman’s purse, pointing it out as evidence. As she leaves, one of her earrings falls.
Anupama, witnessing the scene, stops her scooter to confront the thief. She fiercely claims the purse belongs to her and is promptly returned it by the inspector. Grateful for Aadhya’s help, Anupama prays for her happiness. Prem, who is with Anupama, asks if she’s worried about Aadhya, and she acknowledges him with a thoughtful glance.
After taking a sip of water, Aadhya expresses her frustration about the police, saying they seem to pop up everywhere, as if they have nothing better to do. She finds humor in how the police show up only when there’s trouble. Anupama thanks Prem for assisting her in locating the thief. Ansh arrives, mentioning that a lady told him about the situation. Anupama introduces Prem to Ansh, and they share a lighthearted moment when Prem mistakenly thinks Ansh is her son. She clarifies that Ansh is actually her grandson, which surprises Prem, who compliments Anupama’s youthful appearance.
Sattu then approaches, offering to help find accommodation for Anupama and her group. He insists he can get them a good deal. However, Anupama informs him they’ve already booked a place at an ashram. Sattu warns her that the ashram might not be trustworthy. Ansh suggests they should leave soon since evening is approaching, and they all set off with Sattu. Meanwhile, Prem discovers Aadhya’s fallen earring and compares the situation to a scene from a movie.
Back at home, Vyas criticizes Rahi for not picking up guests, despite their financial difficulties. He urges her to set aside her pride, noting that their reputation has suffered. Aadhya apologizes, explaining that memories of Ahmedabad trigger her anxiety, but she promises to bring in more customers to help fix things.
Meanwhile, Baa is busy preparing sweets and complains about Anupama being out during the festival. Kinjal overhears her and suggests ordering food instead of making it themselves. Baa insists that her cooking is irreplaceable and that her family will miss it once she’s gone. Mahi steps in, offering to help with the laddoos. Kinjal jokes that Mahi is turning into another Anupama, which prompts Mahi to remind her that she was once known as “Choti Anupama.” Kinjal rolls her eyes, suggesting it’s all a joke, and warns Mahi she might regret it.
As Ishani and Pakhi prepare to leave for the parlor, Ishani accidentally drops her purse, spilling a bundle of cash. Everyone stares in surprise.
Ansh observes Anupama making laddoos for an upcoming bhandara and expresses joy at the celebration on Dussera. Prem offers his help, and Anupama likens their meeting to a partnership. Ansh asks Anupama if she would like to participate in his plan, and she agrees, intrigued.
Meanwhile, Baa questions Kinjal about the source of her money. Kinjal explains that social media influencers earn well, but they prefer to keep it quiet at home. Ishani adds that their earnings often disappear quickly. Kinjal argues with Baa about Anupama’s contributions, insisting that if she wanted to save her money, she could easily do so. Baa responds that Anupama is more caring and responsible than they are.
In another scene, Rahi tries to promote her ashram to potential customers. However, when Prem arrives and asks to see pictures, she admits to exaggerating details to attract visitors. The customers overhear this and take back their money, leaving Rahi frustrated. They argue about honesty, and in a moment of clumsiness, Rahi falls against Prem, creating an awkward situation that delights her friend, who jokingly suggests they are now tied together. Rahi quickly disengages, warning Prem not to interfere in her life.
Later, Toshu and Janki have a disagreement over the use of spices in their food business. Janki insists on following Anupama’s advice while Toshu dismisses her input, claiming he is in charge. He tries to implement cost-cutting measures, but Pakhi expresses hope that Anupama stays away from the business.
As the story unfolds, Rahi prays for positive change, seeking to resolve old issues. Anupama also prays at the Gomti River, longing for an end to conflict and hoping to reunite with her mother. Prem joins her in prayer, and shortly after, Rahi and Anupama find themselves at the same location. Anupama senses Aadhya nearby and recognizes her. She asks Ansh to stop Aadhya, wanting to express her gratitude for the earlier help.
Ansh catches up with Aadhya, who questions if he knows her. He clarifies that he doesn’t but wishes to thank her for saving his grandmother’s purse. As they speak, an announcement for Dussera celebrations echoes in the background.
Meanwhile, Mahi tells Baa she misses Anudi and Ansh, leading to lighthearted banter. Baa continues to supervise preparations for the puja, expressing concern about Ishani’s solo trip to Surat.
As the festivities begin, Anupama, Rahi, and Prem gather by the river. Colorful powders fill the air as a procession passes by. In a twist of fate, Prem bumps into Rahi, causing her to fall into Anupama’s embrace. This accidental connection leaves Anupama curious, though she cannot see Rahi’s face.
Precap: Anupama creates a rangoli featuring Aadhya’s likeness and declares she doesn’t want to part with her. Prem expresses hope of meeting again, while Rahi is taken aback upon seeing the rangoli. She notices Anupama, Prem, and Ansh gathered for a yagya, leading to a tense moment as Rahi suddenly flees.
