The episode starts with Aadhya, also known as Rahi, arranging clean mattresses at the orphanage. She asks the kids whose birthday is coming up, and they enthusiastically reply, “It’s yours!” Vyas, an elder at the orphanage, reminds her that tomorrow is indeed her birthday, as she arrived at the orphanage on the day of Dussera. Despite this, Rahi firmly declines to celebrate, saying that she prefers to let Dussera be the main focus. Vyas, noticing her reluctance, wonders aloud what deep pain she might be hiding.

Meanwhile, Anupama and Ansh are traveling on a bus, and Anupama begins to daydream. In her mind, she sees Aadhya blaming her for falling into Dolly’s trap and trying to have her arrested. Anupama defends herself, insisting that she only contacted the police to help find her missing daughter. She reflects on how deeply she trusted Aadhya, but feels hurt that her daughter didn’t trust her in return. As she thinks about everything that has happened, she becomes emotional, longing for Aadhya to come back home. Anupama believes that if Aadhya hadn’t left, everything would still be okay. Even now, Anupama is headed to Dwarka to pray for her daughter’s return, expressing her deep yearning for Aadhya to come back. However, in her own thoughts, Aadhya is determined never to return, feeling completely alone this time—unlike before, when she had the support of child welfare and foster parents. Anupama’s daydream is interrupted when the bus comes to a stop.

In another scene, Toshu is busy working by himself and complains that his mother is more focused on charity work than on helping him with their responsibilities. He tells Dolly that she should lend a hand with their tasks. Mahi enters with a dish she has prepared and asks them to taste it, but Dolly harshly scolds her for interfering, and Toshu tells her to stay out of their business. Pari is about to try the dish when Kinjal stops her, questioning why Mahi is using her daughter as a taste tester. Kinjal then tells Mahi that she should make something official before giving it to her child.

Back at the orphanage, Rahi confides in her friend that she holds deep resentment toward her mother. Her friend, however, challenges this, suggesting that Rahi still loves her mother deep down. Rahi denies this, insisting that she hates her mother, and walks away, trying to stop herself from crying in front of the children. Meanwhile, Gagwani and his men begin throwing the orphanage’s belongings outside, showing no patience. Vyas advises Gagwani to wait, but his men continue their actions. Rahi, along with her friend, rushes to the scene and demands that Gagwani stop immediately. She confronts him, warning that they are in the wrong. When her words fall on deaf ears, Rahi picks up a stick and threatens to take action if Gagwani doesn’t command his men to stop. Gagwani approaches her, raising the tension further.
