Anupama 15th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Aadhya/Rahi saves Prem

The episode begins with Aadhya encouraging people to donate, promising that Kanha Ji will double their donations. Her friend questions what she’s saying, but Aadhya explains that since her intentions are good, a small lie is acceptable. She goes on to explain that there are two kinds of lies: one that the rich tell to fill their vaults, and another that the poor tell to fill their bellies. Aadhya believes that as long as no child in the ashram goes hungry, it’s worth it. Just then, a man approaches her, calling her Rahi, and asks her to perform a classical dance since the original dancer couldn’t make it. Aadhya hesitates, recalling her past dancing with Anupama, but agrees when she negotiates for a higher fee of 5,000 rupees.

At the same time, Anupama is deeply emotional, holding a locket with a picture of Anuj and Aadhya. She tearfully calls out for Choti, her daughter. Meanwhile, a man named Prem overhears her calling Choti and is intrigued. He begins playing music, and as the sound fills the air, Anupama starts dancing, lost in her emotions. At the same time, Aadhya is on stage performing her dance, but her ghungroo (anklet bells) breaks. She improvises, tying them to her dupatta and continuing the performance.

As Prem watches Anupama dance, he remarks that she is dancing to the beat of her pain rather than the music. Aadhya, meanwhile, spins and loses her balance, falling on stage. However, she quickly gets up and reassures the crowd that falling down means she’s fallen at Kanha Ji’s feet. Anupama is about to fall as well, but Prem catches her and asks if she’s okay. Aadhya, determined to earn the money for the children at the ashram, brushes off her fall and refocuses on her mission.

Prem, seeing Anupama’s distress, shares a poem that reminds her of Anuj. He tells her about his plan to visit Dwarka, explaining that his music theme is based on the idea of “lost and found.” He shares an old saying from his grandfather that missing people often reunite in Dwarka. Anupama, still overwhelmed with emotions, gives Prem money to offer in the temple, stating that she needs to find herself. When Prem asks for her name, she quietly replies, “Anupama,” before leaving.

Meanwhile, Aadhya and her friend are approached by some foreigners who offer them money. Aadhya initially refuses, but after they insist, she accepts. They ask what her name, “Rahi,” means, and she explains that it means “traveler.”

Back at Anupama’s place, a few women come to inform her that they haven’t been paid for a delivered order. Toshu steps in and assures them that he will handle it. Anupama urges Toshu to follow up on the payment and get to the bottom of the issue. As she stands there, she is flooded with memories of Anuj. She looks at a photo of Anuj and Aadhya and speaks to it, lamenting how both of them left her. She reflects on how memories never truly fade and expresses her pain at losing them both.

At the ashram, the children tell Vilas, a caretaker, that they are hungry. Aadhya joyfully promises them a special breakfast of kachoris and jalebi, making the children cheer in excitement. She serves the food with love and encourages the kids to chant “Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki.” Vilas asks how she managed to arrange so much food, and Aadhya humorously responds that it feels like she’s won the lottery. She also shares that she paid off their debt at Jagat’s store, but the children ask what they’ll do for food tomorrow. Aadhya, determined to give the children a better future, vows to provide them with an education and a life free from hunger, no matter what it takes.

Mahi, Anupama’s close friend, arrives and notices that something is bothering Anupama. She reassures Anupama that she is the best mother and that just like Mahi couldn’t live without her, Choti likely feels the same. Mahi encourages Anupama to rest after a long day. Reflecting on Prem’s words about the Maha Puja during Dussehra, where offering a peacock feather along with prasad could help find missing loved ones, Anupama prays to Kanha Ji, begging for the return of her daughter and promising to perform the Maha Yagya if she is reunited with Choti.

Later, Prem arrives in Dwarka with his friend, commenting on the spiritual energy of the place and how it connects him to Kanha Ji. His friend leaves to explore the location with Sahil, while Prem heads to the riverbank. Unfortunately, he slips and falls into the water. Aadhya sees him and at first thinks he’s doing it for a video, but her friend quickly realizes that Prem is actually drowning. Without hesitation, Aadhya jumps in to save him. She pulls him out of the water as his friends arrive, and they exchange a meaningful glance.

Precap:

In the next episode, Aadhya teases Prem, saying that for someone who is six feet tall, he shouldn’t have been struggling in only three feet of water. To her surprise, Prem hugs her. Later, Aadhya tells her friend that this Navratri feels special. Meanwhile, an inspector informs Anupama that her daughter is still in Gujarat. Anupama calls a number, and on the other end, Aadhya answers, saying, “Hello.”
