Anil Kapoor on The Night Manager’s Emmy Nomination: Says Love Inspires Him for 150 More Roles

Anil Kapoor’s series The Night Manager has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the 2024 International Emmy Awards, marking a huge achievement for Indian TV. This adaptation of the British show is the only Indian series to receive such global recognition. Kapoor shared his excitement, saying that the love and support he’s received make him feel ready to take on 150 more roles in his career.

Kapoor expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you to the International Emmys for recognizing The Night Manager. I had the honor of working with an amazing team, and we tried to stay true to the original while adding our own twist. Shelly is my 140th character in 45 years of acting, and this kind of recognition gives me the energy to aim for another 150 roles. Jai ho!”

This nomination highlights Anil Kapoor’s range as an actor and his growing global appeal. Earlier this year, Kapoor had a box office success with Fighter, and now he’s preparing for his next film, Subedaar, directed by Suresh Triveni. Though details about the film are still secret, it is expected to release soon.

According to the International Emmy Awards website, there are 56 nominees from 21 countries across 14 categories. The winners of the 52nd International Emmy Awards will be announced on November 25, 2024, in New York City.
